Howdy Mate!
Glad you got the parts to your bike puzzle. How soon before you try to fall off a mountain?

Indian Summer must happen only here in America; a combination of geography and weather patterns. Oh, well...it doesn't really apply too strongly to our particular area, not like in the Northeast.
Believe me my friend, I have worked my share of "graveyard shifts," and if at this time I don't have to, I will get my sleep. I think that was why I was so happy about the weather this past week or so, it reminds me of the Indian Summers of the Northeast that we do not have.

Nobody knows."

Heya turkeyboy
The mechanic's away for the next two days and while I'm confident that I can fix up most the bike myself I'm pretty sure I'll f... muckup the lacing of the spokes so dependant on how busy we are at work I can have everything built bar the wheelsets by end of work tomorrow. Spoke lacer dude is my best mate and my bike is high pri with him so I'm guessing that by next monday/tuesday I'll be causing havok among the populace of Christchurch
It will def need some minor adjustments via the chain guide/disc brakes etc... but it will be rideable. I'm so amped about it, I've been waiting 4 months for this.

How 'bout yourself mate? Life good in sunny ol' Texas?
