Legolas

He wipes the blood from his knife, using the clothes of the nearest goblin as a rag. After putting the weapon away, he grunts, then slowly lowers himself to the ground.

"My thanks, Aric. After I see to my wounds..."
The ranger removes his shirt as he speaks, revealing both the cuts,
"...I suppose we'll have to come up with something better."

Despite seemingly heavy bleeding, the wound to his chest is quite shallow. Legolas decides to leave it alone for now, in favour of the cut to his lower left arm.
Although it probably saved his life this time, he makes a mental note not to use a bare arm for a shield in the future anymore. This wound is quite deep, although muscle and nerves appear to be still intact. Nonetheless, the bloodloss could turn serious soon, and the ill-kept goblin blades make an infection likely. The elf ties his shirt above the wound as temporal pressure bandage, and rises to his feet once more.
Sweating and bleeding, he feels both slightly dizzy and cold.

"We'll have to see what we can do with herbs. I can cure some light wounds, but I'd rather save... save that for Durlan."
The elf scanned the forest floor.
"What have we got..."

ELIZA (To Padremus, after giving Blandamour a hideous look)"Some call me Eliza, and some call me other things. How about that drink, before we talk about dates. Let's get to know each other a little."

PANDREMUS (To Eliza) "Who is the big guy over there you keep looking at? Your boyfriend? Have you two had a little fight, and you might be looking for someone to take you home, maybe have a little revenge? Well, ol' Pandremus is a specialist in getting pretty girls revenge on their boyfriends, yes, ma'am." (He pinches her on the hip)

Aric inspects the wound on Legolas' arm and - with some reluctance - retrieves a small cannister from a pouch at his waist. He opens it to reveal a thick, white paste. He dips the tip of his finger into the paste, removing a very small portion. He then applies the paste to the wound.

Legolas instantly feels a magical warmth emanating from the paste. The pain of his wound is diminished to a dull throb as the skin seems to simply "re-attach" itself together and he can feel the strength returning to his arm. He starts to thank the Hunter, but Aric replaces the lid with a sour look on his face and turns away.

"Come on then. Let's find your lady friend and determine how we are going to proceed".

Legolas

He is still not comfortable with Aric's presence, but so far the half-elf had both saved his life and valuable time.
Legolas untied his shirt and put it back on, bloodstains now colouring it brown in places. He'd wanted to ask what the paste was, and if the bounty hunter knew how to make it. From the sour look, he knows that it is either expensive or difficult to find, containing complicated magic or rare herbs.
Not much point in asking, then.

"I'm not convinced the idea was wrong, we were probably unlucky to encounter this particular patrol. How about, this time, I scout ahead and find some more intelligent creatures who understand surrender.
Unless they're all goblins. Let's hope not. If that's the case, we could wait here until someone notices this partol missing and sends others to see what happened. They'll understand their leader would like a word with me."

He never thought he'd be so eager to surrender and be captured one day.

ELIZA(to Pandremus) "Well, we might have had a few words. Why don't you buy me a drink while I tell you all about it."

PANDREMUS (grumpily) "Well, all right. Waitress! A glass of wine for the beautiful young lady. Now, my dear, tell me about your argument, and how you grew into such a ravishable ... er ... ravishing young lady."

ELIZA (She pretends to sip at the wine but does not) "Well, tell me about yourself and this area. A mighty wizard such as yourself should know of all the other wizards around here. I heard a story yesterday about a powerful mage named Peven. Have you heard of him?"

Sorsha

She had reluctantly torn her eyes away from Legolas, inwardly cursing Aric and blaming him for all their misfortunes, regardless of whether he really deserved such attention. Yet for the good of the group - nay, to please Legolas - she had followed the plan dutifully, all the while knowing her heart would ache if anything happened to Legolas.

Now, in the distance, she sees Aric crouching by her fallen lover. No longer can she abide their wishes. She briskly walks forward towards them, her mouth almost opening to call Legolas, then clamping as she watches the ranger rise and make his way again.

Shaking her head somewhat resignedly, she chews her lips, knowing that she must let him go. For too long he had tried to please her; now was her turn to reciprocate.

"H... how is he?" ~ She whispers to Aric as she reaches him, her eyes never leaving the departing elven figure.

"He took a nasty slice to his arm from one of the goblin blades and a minor cut on his chest. He wouldn't use his healing spells on himself, so I had to apply a healing salve that I carry with me to his arm. The loss of blood would have prevented him from going much farther.

The cut to his chest is minor and will prove to be nothing more than a painful annoyance. He's a hardy one, I'll give him that (especially for an elf). And he is good in a fight. We will continue to follow him from a distance, so that we may keep an eye on him, but he seems capable of handling himself should the need arise. Come, let us follow before he gets too far ahead."

Aric slips his ring back on and becomes Invisible once more. As they start to follow the elf, Sorsha is struck by a realization....she could have sworn she "almost" heard a hint of respect in Aric's voice, but if she did, it was quickly concealed behind his normal, surly demeanor. Without another word, the two unlikely companions set off to follow the ranger as he continues walking straight towards the stronghold.
