That's good - you will have an opportunity to drown your sorrows in advance . And something I learnt recently, the key to drinking Cider is to keep it in the glass .

Predictions for tommorrow.
Australian cricket team delcare at 400-450 runs, take a few wickets before close of play. Tim Henman beats Goran Ivanisevich. (Only because it sets up another Brit/Oz encounter - I suspect Rafter would win) Can't decide about the rugby. I thought the Lions would go down last time, and look what happened. Now that the Aussies know what they are facing I think they could pull it off this time. Got your BBQ going in the garden Davros, or have you taken it indoors like the rugby match. |

The world champions bounce back!! The Wallabies 35-14 over the Lions, 29-3 in the second half.
Where's Donut? Has anyone seen Donut? I wanted to ask him about Steven Larkham's performance. I was having dinner while watching the game and I missed Joe Roff's brilliant try. Did he really bamboozle Daffyd James and Jason Robinson and make them look like park players? Bring on the 3rd Test in Sydney, 85,000 at Stadium Australia. Hopefully I'll be one of them!! ------------------ |

The board going down may have been a blessing in disguise.
How good was Larkham this time. The turning point was Roff's second try, that broke the Lions' back. They looked like a rabble after that, our forward pack was just hitting the ball over the advantage line and all of a sudden the backline was on song. Think they'll bring Latham back for the 3rd Test or stick with Walker? Then again, it doesn't really matter, does it? ------------------ |
