Kat, they do the smae thing over here, they just call it Medicaid. The trick is to give the money before going into the nursing home. They even make them sell their houses, poor things.

IMFO ( ) That's pretty bloody evil. My great-grandmother is 90, and hasn't had to go into a home until last summer. ALL her loife savings-from the first time she worked, as an ambulance driver in WW2 onwards-gone. And what makes me more annoyed? The way she's treated. She's mostly blind and mostly deaf and you wouldn't think that this is a woman who has seen the entire world and saved several lives. *sigh*
Rant OFF! So, how's your day

Fine, just glad things are getting back to normal. I guess my plea to Cloudy to stop the rain worked, because it did. I may step out the door and get the Sunday newspaper. Darn it, Galadria has to take Piestrider back to Waxahachie early because he has a piano recital, so it's either go down there and ruin a Sunday or be all alone up here. Will is going with her to see his idolized brother in action.

Not another one. *sigh* Ah well, I´m glad I missed it. No worries Bob. I was just wondering since I saw an old thread by Saz. Pondered for a moment if I should post a warning against eating papaya but decided not to.

Hi Attalus. Don´t you just love rain? If you like, I can send you some snow instead lol.
