'I found pretty knife, in my package, and I liked the look of it, so I took it, then this man came running after me, so I tried to hide in here. I didn't realise there were so many people in here.'
Then the young boys eyes welled up, and tears came down his face.
'I'm sorry, I'll take it back, really I will'.

Skye leaned back and looked at Shadowheart and Shadow, a slightly smug smile on her face. "Well, there you have it boys. What do you want to do?"

Laughing to himself at the poor thief, and Starshadow's sudden change of character, Talin grinned, "We could use him as a decoy on our mission. You know, someone to draw out the gaurds..." Talin smiled evily at the young elf on the table. Looking at Skye, Talin continued, "Then again, we could just let him go, or use him as a servant...I've always wanted someone to clean my quarters."
Deciding that he had poked fun at the young thief enough, Talin sat down next to the sleeping Ferron and started slapping his cheeks to try and get him coherant.

Starshadow glared at Skye. "Well, I still want to torture him a little. Then... we'll see." He looked at the knife. "Is it magical, by chance?"

He glared at Talin. "You don't need a servant. What next? Someone to do your thieving for you?"

Slowly waking up, Ferron suddenly realizes what had happened. "Dont touch the package!" he announces, "theres something wrong with it!"

Standing up, Ferron looks over at the table seeing the intruder with a knife at his ear. He walks over to the table, "How long was I out?" he asks.

Shadow rolls his eyes at Skye, "Oh yeah, sure you could always do it the easy way and be nice to him but torture does have its advantages."

He leans back in his chair and looks at the child and then at Skye "Well if you are so protective of him then he is your responsability, you can send him from here or take him under your wing. But if he does anything that hurts the guild then you will share the punishment."

Starshadow nodded at Shadow's pronouncement. "I take it upon myself to punish them, if they do wrong. I have a good number of tortu... er, punishments that would be good." He smiled to himself. "Or at least be fun for me!"

He looked at Ferron. "You were out long enough for all of us to take everything of value on you. As punishment, you will not be given anything back." He held out Ferron's money pouch, which he had made Talin give to him as he tried to revive the man.

Grinning broadly at Ferron, Talin leaped onto the table in front of Skye and bowed lavishly at him. Unfortunantly, as he straightened, he flipped onto his back and had the wind knocked out of him. After he could breathe, He sheepishly scooted into a chair and pulled his hood down further over his head, hoping to hide from the rest of the guild.
"There was this puddle of wine, see..." Talin mummbled, even though there was no evidence of wine on the table.
Wondering to himself why whenever anything seemed to be going his way, he somehow screwed it up, he sighed. Like that time in the Gooseflesh Tavern when he had won an armwrestling match, and then lost it all when he immediatly entered a drinking contest and lost in the third round.
Resolving from this day forward to think things through thoroughly, Talin raised his head in a newfound resolution to be a more thorough thief.

'Thankyou for stopping them from torturing me, I have a present for you in my package with the knife, if they let me have it back'

Skye stood up, arms crossed, and smirked at Shadow and Starshadow. "Fine, but there will only be punishment if the child starts any chaos, not if he's... induced." She knew that some people would like to cause mischief just to get others into trouble for their amusement. Taking the child's package, Skye pocketed it. "I'm sure you won't want him totally under my wing, at least not if you want him to turn out like me," she said wryly. She looked at the two guild leaders. "He could help continue the guild as the second generation... perhaps someone would like to improve his thieving skills..?"
