Even as the Drow Matron was speaking, the sword had taken them back to Alae, and even as she finished her last word, they were there. "Perhaps we could speak again, sometime, Mother?" Tagnik whispered, "I miss you so.." It quietened.
Arlyth sighed. "I see." He said, and looked up to see Alliene enter. He said nothing. |

"We will." Alliene told it, then looked up at Arlyth, "I will return your sword in a moment. There are some things I still wish to ask it."
"Aunty...aunty, is everything alright?" Alae asked her hesitantly. "No, everything is not alright." She beckoned to Sui'aerl, "You and the other priestesses go through the camp and tell them to gather in a group. I have words to say to them, and a task for you." "What is the problem, aunty? Alae pressed. Alliene scoweled at her, setting her back a step, "You will find when my army does." She snapped. The task of gathering the army would only take the priestesses around ten mintues. Anything Arlyth might have to say could be said now. [ 10-23-2003, 11:11 PM: Message edited by: Lady Blue03 ] |

Arlyth sighed. "As you command, Matron " He replied, and sighed. "Might I ask you something Matron? These elves... I would ask that you spare them..."

"Their lives are being spared. But they will return with me to the Underdark." Her tone was final.
Alae had looked hopeful with her first words, but her face fell at the last, "Why not just let them go? Your house doesn't need them." Alliene settled her cold glare on Alae, "I did not say my house needed them, my niece." |

Arlyth glared at the drow. "So be it." He snarled. "You're just as wicked as the rest of them. It seems my father was right. I won't forget this." Then he cast a dimension door before anyone could stop him, leaving a somewhat shocked Alae. The dimension door swallowed the two elven priestess's and then collasped in on itself.

Alliene smirked to herself, "But of course. Once a drow, always a drow."
"He is right. You do not need all of those elves." Alae seemed to have found her voice, and was defiant and strong. "Oh?" Alliene slowly turned to her niece, and Alae began to regret speaking out, "Do you think I do what I'm doing now doesn't cost me anything? It costs money to feed, clothe, and equip and army. You know this. The only difference is the way we pay for it. You are elven, human, and use taxes to pay for your army. We are drow, and this is how it has been done for many millenia. Your word or your cousin's will not change it. Without these elves being sold, you will be without my help. Understand?" Alae closed her eyes and nodded, then retreated back to Alaerth. A few minutes passed, and Sui'aerl approched, telling her that the warriors were gathered. Alliene nodded and follwed her to where they were waiting. Alae and Alaerth followed. |

Arlyth sighed, and looked at the two elven priestesses. "Stay here." He commanded. Walking over to the elves the drow were holding, he told them "Release the elves, drow. Your Matron's order." Then he cast a dimension door onto the elves, teleporting about five hundred of them away... it seemed like he planned to do it to all of the captive elves.

One of the priestesses guarding the slaves frowned. She knew Alliene needed these slaves. She immediatley cast a protective spell over them before he could teleport anymore out, "I don't believe you, elf. I'll release them when the Matron Mother tells me herself." There was no penetrating the spell she had set over the elves. He could either wait for Alliene to finish with her army, or go get her now...or he could kill the priestess.

Arlyth glared and then walked over to the priestess. Softly he whispered "Do not tempt fate, Drow. It comes for you soon enough as is. Do not disobey my commands.." his tone was that of an adult and not of a child. Arlyth's eyes were crimson. The two elven priestess's backed off and retreated several paces.

The priestess looked Arlyth in the eyes with her own crimson ones, "I do not fear death, elf. If I die, so do you." the two other drow priestesses turned toward him, eyes narrowed, and several of the warriors unsheathed their weapons.
