Glad that the attention of the guild had been turned from him, Talin swallowed the rest of the jerky and replied to Starshadow, "I have a few skills...I can climb most anything easily, I can gather information without being detected, and I also have some skill with my short sword. I only hope that these skills can be of some use to the guild..." Trailing off, Talin glanced at the fainted theif. "He is for sure a horrid liar, but mayhap we should find out a little about him before we pass judgement on him..." While Talin could be completely ruthless if the need arose, he didn't want to needlessy kill some poor cut-purse unless there was a good reason.

Skye raised an eyebrow at the discussion. "He's not very old, cut him some slack. I'd be intimidated if I suddenly burst into a room full of thieves that were most likely more experienced than me." She walked over and pulled the boy up, sitting him slumped over in a chair. She eyed the package. "I don't suppose any of the gifted thieves assembled in this room know how to check for traps... though I doubt there is any spell on this."

"Oh c'mon, we all know there is no trap on the package." Ferron announces. He walks over and snatches the parcel off Shadow. "If you all dont mind, I want to open it," he says to the group, "I just love opening presents..." with that he ripped the parcel open. "See no trap!" he announces before falling sleepily to the floor.

Shadow looks at Ferron, "Stupid boy, I am part mage. He should have let me open it." Shadow resists the urge to skin the idiotic thief lying on the floor, "Someone get him away from me before i reduce the guilds numbers."

ic:Khal regained consciousness, and tried to scramble out of the chair he was in, resulting in him slipping off the chair to the feet of the woman standing near him (Skye).

Starshadow watched the action unfolding before his eyes with grim look. With a quick movement, he reached across the table and grabbed the young Elf by the collar and threw him on the table. A knife appeared in Starshadow's hand and he pointed it at the left ear of the young Elf. "Now unless you want me to cut your ears off, which I know will be more than enough torture for any Elf, you will tell us everything we want to know. Do you understand, or will I have to start cutting?" He put the blade of the knife against the youngster's ear.

Starshadow looked down at the sleeping thief. "I'll skin him later and make a cloak while this Elf here watches," he said off-handedly.

Then, seemingly coming to a sudden realization, he smiled sheepishly at Skye. "Er, I mean, they'll both only be slightly punished and none the worse for the wear." He then turned away and started mumbling to himself, keeping the knife's edge at the Elf's ear.

Skye sighed and pulled Ferron over to occupy Khalraan's now empty chair. She looked at the two guild leaders with a raised eyebrow. "Spare me," she drawled dryly. Walking over to Khalraan, she smiled at him. "Tell me what happened that caused you to get here. Don't worry, I won't let them hurt you." she shot a look at Shadowheart.
