Not so bad as it's Friday! But I do wish someone would invent the 5 day weekend soon! I have too much to do in only 2 days!

Hmmm... lots of stuff here.

Cloudy, how about "I'm sorry... so sorry..."

And it is certainly a challenge to get a senior person to give up their privilege of driving. Note I said privilege, not right.

It does make you less mobile, but it does not mean you have to be less active. I have a friend who has just gotten her driver's license at 40. Prior to that, she biked (okay, octogenarians on bikes is also scary), walked, or found rides with other folks. A number of places (such as one's church) will often help with rides, too. One just has to ask.

I do agree, though; once someone gives up, it's just a matter of time. The trick is not to let losing her driving rights cause her to give up.

Now, that being said, I'm glad in one way that my last surviving grandparent lives on the other side of the state...

great day for me! seems i have thrush from my antibiotic, and if my uvula is not back to normal tomorrow i gotta go back in to the dr! he wants me off the prednisone i think cause my tounge has numb spots on it? i didn't actually get to speak with my dr, or even my dr's nurse, another dr at the practice his nurse took my questions then when my dr called in about something asked him. oh well.

and now....carol has an ear infection! she is on amoxicillan, decongestant, motrin, and a saline spray to clear her nose. she loves me when it's medicine time.....she just starts screaming about how much she loves me! (hint hint: that last sentence was dripping with sarcasm!) a friend helped out at the dr's, and hung around so i could get some cleaning done.

anyway...thanks for the well wishes. i hope it is strep that i have and the zithromax will take care of it.... :::crosses fingers::: i know it's working on my sinus infection!

TL: grandparents bounce back! my g-ma was...89? when she lost her license due to seizures. she is now in assisted living but she is living life to it's fullest still. she sees as many grandkids and great grandkids as she can and has some good friends there. chin up timber, seeing you and your family bright and cheerful will help her.

Best wishes, RevRuby. It's not easy, but hopefully it will end... for all of you.

Remind me not to come near your house

Good morning all!!!

Well I finally got my lovely present... it's my car. I got it two nights ago... it's an old two-door Pajero and I have been wanting that ever since I saw that (which was 3-5 years ago I forget). I am so happy! Finally...

From a wild driver to a good one...

Maybe Nathan should split while the getting's good... Nah, it's too much fun taking care of sick people. They say funny things that you can use later...

Question Mark

Interesting. Today is my "anniversary", of a sort. It was exactly 3 years ago today when I registered as user #554 on Ironworks.
