OOC : yeah

IC : The tiger beams, or would beam if it can at Drusalia, taking up the meat and then eating it contentedly. Apaprently, it -was- hungry.

Drusalia 22/22

"Shall we continue now? Or do you want to watch the tiger feasting?" - said Drusalia while all the time watching the tiger.

OOC: just stopping by to say "hi" - looks like you're having fun ^^. Canada's nice - and we've got snow. ^^. Psst, speaking of snow, Rika, its supposed to be a sabre-tooth snowlion not a tiger. Anyway, bye for now!

OOC : .. Snowlion/snowtiger.. not much of a difference.. Meh, snowlion it is then.

IC : Fairioni blinks "Well, I'd advise keep going. I imagine the tiger will follow if intersted."

Releasing the grip on her bow, Jena nodded. "It's always better to be cautious...but, perhaps I over-reacted."

Smiling, she turned toward the party.

"Yes..perhaps it's best if we kept moving."

Feeling a slight chill course throughout her body, Jena pulled the hood of her cloak tightly around her neck.

OOC: snow? what's that? I forgot ever since I moved to the south. Ahh well..glad you're having a good time CD!

OOC: hehe, thanks - ah yes, snow - snow has been falling all day, everyday for the last three days - we've about 5cm worth of snow now.
Oh, and feel free to control Aeriah - within limits of course - Gamegurl. You seem to know him enough by now ^^
---

Aeriah acknowledged the snow-lion with a quirk of his eyebrow, a faint smile and wondered how many more strange animals they would encounter. Surprisingly enough, he was not in the least bit intimidated by the magnificent beast, instead, openly admiring her beauty.
To Jena, he asked, "You are a ranger, are you not? Is there no way you could commune with this animal, or ask her if we intrude or offer something to her?" Then the elf returned to his musing, deciding that this snow-lion really was beautiful.

Jena 36/36

Jena smiled warmly at Aeriah. He seemed...different now than he had before. He seemed more...gentle...understanding...and peaceful..than he had when Jena first met him. She thouroughly enjoyed his company. A part of her, however, felt guilty: she wanted to share everything with him, but she was deathly afraid...she was afraid of things she did not understand.

Turning toward Aeriah, but speaking loud enough for everyone to hear, Jena spoke. “It’s just..that..well.. I had never encountered such an animal in my world…it seemed strange, and…I…”

Jena lowered her face and closed her eyes. Sadly she wiped the back of her cloak sleeve over her eyes in an attempt to brush away several forming tears.

Aeriah could tell something was troubling her. Smiling, he just took her hand in his. After a brief pause and a deep sigh, Jena continued.

“I know from experience…that…sometimes animals…creatures….people….even though they may appear beautiful on the outside…can be ugly on the inside. Sometimes the most beautiful thing in the world…can be the most deadly. Things are not always as they seem. I was unsure whether this animal had intentions of attacking us….and well, I was afraid and felt the need to defend and protect not only myself….but you as well.”

Turning now toward the lion, Jena released her bow and arrows to the ground, crouched low, and lowered her body down to the lion’s level and smiled brightly.

“I am sorry, lion. Please forgive my sudden threat to you. I’m Jena. I wish to make my…abrupt conduct up to you. Do you have a name? Something I can call you?”

This seemed silly..she was talking to a lion. Jena doubted the lion understood, but it was worth the effort. Perhaps, if nothing else, her nonverbal communication would explain her sincerity.

The lion looks at her and shrugs, leading Faironi to speak up "Try suggesting names, I'm betting that the lion can't really speak."

Artelm 18/18

Artelm followed the others, and nearly pulled his bow as the lion attacked. Deciding it better to watch the others at work and not appear hostile, he contented himself with a reasuring hand on it, knowing he could easily draw it at any moment.
