GALADRIA (They all head for the city , whist on the road, she manages to ride next to Blandamour, Sorsha in front of her.)(to Blandamour) "So, honored Sir, now that we find ourselves on our way, perhaps you could enlighten me as to how you became wounded so gravely. You have not asked, but I obtained the dagger under most peculiar circumstances, after running a course with a magical suit of armour. It was on the suit, and I found it after I o'erthrew it. Glad would I be to hear your tale, as it might shed some light on our present predicament." (pats Sorsha on the head)

BLANDAMOUR (to Galadria) Oh, I don't mind telling you, though it does not portray me in a very good light. I was on errantry near here, when I came to a lady's pavilion. She came out and begged my help against an evil sorcerer, who was visiting her bed in dreams. I agreed to guard her bed as she slept, and sure enough a red mist began to form around her. I attacked it, but it changed into the form of a skeleton, which attacked me, stabbbing through my armor as though it were cheese, and gave me the wound that you saw. As I say, the very knife that you wear at your belt. As I fell, the skeleton and the lady both mocked me, and disappeared. They said, "you have angered the wrong wizard, and this is his revenge." Now that you have heard my story, what is yours? How did you obtain the dagger?

GALADRIA (to Bladamour) Nay, fair sir, all I can tell you is what I already told you. I took it from a suirt of enchanted armor that attacked me without cause. (she tosses her head in faint annoyance)(They arrive in Tarashia and go into the Order building. She sees a squire that she knows. "Ho, Blaise! Where is my father or Lady Britomart? I have to speak with them."
BLAISE "I'm terribly sorry that you weren't let known, your Ladyship, but Lord Foebane died these weeks past, and his ashes are in the Order crypt. Lady Tania is Order Prior now, As for Lady Britomart, she took off right after Lord Foebane died, and hasn't been seen or heard from, since"
GALADRIA(A cold chill comes over her and she is speechless, her face as still as stone. She turns to Blandamour and he embraces her. She puts her head on his shoulder but does not weep.)

He was growing more and more restless as the hindwalkers kept talking, making noise and scaring the rabbits away. All the dramatics were nothing for him; you either were the alpha female and recognised by all, or you weren't and didn't complain. You either had fought for your mate or you had none. It was not like there was much inbetween.
Having nothing better to do, he pursued the thought of the cub being put into the position of Alpha bitch. She was too young for that, and besides, the current leaders seemed to get by.

As for himself, he was drawn away from his family, but that was not what bothered him. He'd made a promise to Legolas and seen the need to leave his friends for a while.
What he didn't like was that these new ones were trying to pull Smellsnice, and himself, further into manbuisness. He didn't really like most individual hindwalkers, but he hated entire packs of them.
Rrang was not considering leaving. He would protect. But he figured he could take the girl with him, back to the safety of his own family.
The ones they traveled with now were alright, but he did not feel like meeting more. Still, Rrang knew he could hardly stop Smellsnice if she had her mind set on seeing those others.

He suddenly cocked back his head as trails of halflingsmell reached his nose. They were on the road ahead, or near it, and sweating in anticipation of something. Probably lunch or something, Rrang thought, but somehow he knew their intent was not good. He turned to warn his traveling companions.

What is family? ~ The sudden thought begins to prick at her incessantly ~ I have never known my true one, and Philip... no, Gareth, tried his best... only to be begrudged by Jocelyn... ~ Looking at the rest, she experiences again the wave of sorrow that has found its way into her heart.

Since the day Justin had died... or seemed to have died. ~ Till now, it is not clear what exactly had happened. Yet Dalben would never agree to reveal more. ~ I wonder if he ever will... ~ His insistence that they seek a safer haven had been wise, but an irritant. And now, Galadria's family home seems to be rife with problems.

On top of that... I don't trust him that much anymore... somehow. ~ The memory of his recent outburst and near-insane reaction to the amulet had nearly frightened her to death, and she shudders, wondering if a similar occurence will take place in the near future.

Leaning back, she gasps a little, realising she has knocked gently into Rrang. Her cheeks flush, and she hastily steps aside, apologising shamefacedly.

(he fishes out a pocket flask, she sits down and takes a sip) "Ho, squire, I am Sir Blandamour of this Order. I must speak to Lady Tania. Tell her of our arrival. We must be up and doing. And when you see her, know that I shall tell her how you greeted my Lady, so that she can give you a lesson in manners. Now, begone, before I lose my temper." (He puts his arm awkwardly around Galadria, who is still looking shocky.)
