Go check the discussion Kev and I had about fires on the previous page of the Boogre Bar, and you should understand the knife better.
Still, Kev, I'm a little upset. The thought and consideration that went into that gift to you, the analysis of your wants and needs, and the search for something that could be handy and make your life simpler as need be... and you toss it callously away like so much leftover potato salad... |

Bungleau,
Chimaster must be very hurt that you consider him only worthy of "so much potato salad". It is only from a genuine like & respect for Chimaster, that all of us share, that the knife was gifted. (whispered)The fact that it would be funny to see a scuba diver fall on someone else has nothing to do with it. [ 01-20-2003, 08:53 PM: Message edited by: kev ] |

Kev,
I think I see your point. While I thought that a dagger enchanted to create downspouts would be of help in fighting fires in the wilds of Western Australia, there is some definite appeal to the random appearance of rotund scuba divers above someone else's head. Still, I thought I warned you to use it outside... As for the fires, how close are you to the current fun in Canberra?

Oh and as to the question about a portal or back door, there's both, the back door is in the wine cellar which is where I've set my portal. However the back door is magically locked from the outside, you can only go out, not in so there's no worries about chi master sneaking in the back. Later! -Jafin |

Bungleau,
Canberra is a small territory that houses the capital of Australia. It has only 11 fire engines & was unprepared for a fire of this extent. It is 4500km from where I am on the other side of the country. At the last count they have lost 450 houses & 4 Lives, I think that that may make their beancounters review their downgrading of the brigade in recent years. No other state in Australia could have caused such a **itfight, but to be fair the whole city is full of pollies that have no idea of what happens in the real world. Maybe you could enchant a few thousand more daggers & send them to Canberra? [ 01-22-2003, 04:15 AM: Message edited by: kev ] |

Be my pleasure, Kev...
*stops for a moment* Hmmmm.... but what about the hordes of scuba divers raining down on the territory? Then again, scuba divers falling on politicians would be worth the effort Okay, more enchanted waterspout daggers coming up. Say, if anyone has any extra daggers, I'd be glad to put them to use. Along with any mana potions you've been saving for a rainy day... *starts enchanting* |
