The dishonesty in Able's words, although purely coming from lust for power, did not surprise her. She had already learnt that the necromancer did not care for living things. Her anger was nearly formed into words, but then she decided against it, making up her mind that the necromancer was uncorrectable. She but sent him a hostile glare and then seeing that Aeriah was walking off from the rest of the party she walked after him. When she caught up she put a hand gently on his shoulder.

"Is everything okay? You have been strangely silent lately."

Pausing at the sound of the half-nymph's voice, Aeriah turned to face her and smiled slightly. "I am often quiet, though I thank m'lady's interest in my welfare."

Sighing slightly, he looked up at the treetop canopy and whispered, "In the beauty of such a place as this, the magnificence... I wonder at our appointed task and what plagues the land… just how important our concerns are. After all, we are… but small beings in the grander scheme of things and our significance.., seems slight when compared with such a place as this."

Pausing for breath, the elf shook his head and sighed, "And as to you, you are more beautiful then any elf I’ve ever laid eyes upon… I have to wonder if you are… perhaps something more. I have not failed to notice your distaste is stronger then an elf’s for our ‘dear friend’ the necromancer." The monk’s tone held more then slight sarcasm and distaste for Able. "You were also… more respectful to the tree then many would be. Are you a child of the forest?”

She blushed slightly at the mention of her beauty.

"I feel Able is very much out of place here and he can't cope with what is happening around him in this forest. I fear that before losing his memories he was a very evil person. I wonder whether there are people who should not get their memories back..."

"Your guess is right, although I would very much appreciate it if you did not talk about this to the others. You never know how humans, dwarves and other mortals would react when they found out what I really am."

Aeriah smiled warmly, "Mortals? Ah, well, I suppose we all are, but we elves live for so long that... I do not tend to consider my lifespan of import, just yet anyway."

Inclining his head, the elf added graciously, "Of course, I would not dream of going against your personal wishes in this matter. As to…” his eyes flickered in Able’s direction, "To everyone regaining their memories, I confess, that I too have doubts, but… I fear more about what form of person I was. Was I a force for righteous and justice, or was I… an evil tyrant? A warlord? A condemned criminal sentenced to death. What if I had a family? Or a mate… what of them? If any? There are so many questions, and yet, I sense, that they are perhaps, not what is most important. If this was a chance to start life afresh, beginning anew, are we really so right to try and regain what we have lost? What if it was for the best? I am… troubled by such thoughts, but worse, I do not know… I do not know what the best direction is, and yet, I cannot help but press forwards. And then, there is freedom of choice… a person’s will. Did we… did we choose to have our memories taken? Or were they buried by force? Can we even regain them? I do not know the answers to such questions and that, is why I have been so silent, m’lady.”

"You have the time to think about many things in depth, things I haven't even thought about. You have just showed me a completely new perspective of seeing everything. I thank you for that. I shall have to discuss all this with Verrion later on."

With a nod and a small bow, Aeriah asked, "I do not wish to ask personal questions, but.. this Verrion, your paladin friend, I know this sounds silly, but, are you well acquainted? I cannot ask if you have known him long, for, you, just like the rest of us, have no prior memories beyond three weeks ago."

"I have also noticed,” Aeriah spoke in hushed tones that only she could hear, "That our 'dear friend' -” by whom, he meant Able, "- does not share the same views as the rest of us. Let us hope he does not turn on us... I confess, though he has done nothing yet, I am not wholly convinced of his trustworthiness and his little display back at the grove was both juvenile and arrogant. I would suggest that we keep a covert eye upon him for signs of treachery. Not that I wish to spread dire warnings." he added with a smile, "But, better to be cautious then sorry, is it not?"

Able Typhonious 18/18

Feeling completley out of touch with the others after that horribly un-vile reminder of his own mortality able shuffles amongst the others and keeps saying to himself in his head Totally not worth it... totally not worth it... totally not worth it... He spots a stream stops staring off into blank space for the first time in a long time. He bends down a little and cupps something into his hands. He stands back up and starts petting and examining a creature which croaks in response.

Able summons a familiar in the form of a fat, bloated Toad and thus gains 3 HP. The toad is dark skinned and somehow, suits the necromancer so perfectly, Able had to wonder how he ever got along without him.

"Verrion is the first of this group here that I met back in the tavern, and we share some of our views. We have talked quite some. If your question was to ask whether we are in love with each other, well he may be in love with me." - she said with a smile, purposefully avoiding to answer about her own emotions.

"Me and Verrion we have already been constantly watching Able. Do you want to join us in this?" - the smile on her face showed that she was happy to find that she was not the only one afraid of what the necromancer might really be.

"Also if you don't mind I would like to ask you another question. I have noticed that you never use my name. Not wanting to be offensive in any way, but why is this?"
