A New Beginning

As he was opening his mouth to speak Mistral broke from his grasp and pulled him off balance. Turning his attention back to the human he growled, "I guarantee that you'll live to regret that, and I can make you live for centuries in pain beyond your worst nightmares."

Looking towards Storm and Thalali as he walked towards Mistral he said "As I said before, she is one of these 'hunter.' She would see us destroyed for being gods among insects, and You were sent to find out what I know." As Mistral scrambles away he glares at her, "There is nowhere you can run that I cannot follow, or send chattel after you to bring you to me," he stops advancing towards her and looks back at the two vampires that followed him down, these hunters are notoriously hard to capture alive, but I have interrogated more than any of our kind to date, they have a range of powers, some can halt our ability to use our powers, others can create weapons from thin air, or make normal mortal weapons deadly to us, others can expose us to the unwashed masses, do you want humans to know you are real and come for you? Would you like to burn in the sun, or have dozens of fools douse you in petrol and attempt to send you to the final death? We are not just fighting for power amongst ourselves anymore, we are fighting for survavl against these insects.[/b]" He spits towards Mistral as the misshapen wretch shuffles into the room.

"Yes Massster," it grovels. The vampire glares at his servant as it walks up to him in it's shuffling scraping way, when it is within arms reach the Tzimisce slashes at it with his left index and iddle fingers, opening a large gash at it's throat.

"Drink up, I know you are hungry, and untrustworthy servants are worthless to me"

OOC Mistral the door leading up that the vampires came from is still open, and the "Master" is still blocking the exit "igor" pointed out for you.

"I do not feed on people, Sir. Not even ones that would harm me. Killing is one thing, but to live off the blood of another human is not what I wish to do, if I can help it.

And as for this poor girl you hold captive, I think we will take her to see my boss. Maybe she will be useful to him in some way, and in return for that, he'll let me go free. You will hand her over to us now, or we will take her from you."

Storm sets himself as he knows that this will not go as easy as that. He hoped that is friend Thalali knew how to fire those pistols well. He gave a listen down the corridor to see where the others were and if they were close enough to help. Storm felt that this would not be an easy fight.

Sylwyn leaned against the wall near the door, listening. She half shook her head when Storm told the host to hand the girl over. In strength, he wouldn't stand a chance, unless the other vampyres caught up to the two of them and helped back them up. She stood farther back against the wall, and stilled. Her body blended perfectly into the shadows, so no one could see her. She had the feeling that she would be needed later on... her place was not in this fight.

Thalali drew out his guns, both pointed at the master. His index fingers on both triggers waiting for some kind of signal to fire.

A nightmare it was, truly ~ Has the entire city been overrun by vampires and mad scientists? ~ It certainly seemed so. And this, as she inched her way towards the door where the latest intruders had entered from, halted her in her path.

Does it matter where I go, if everywhere that I go, I shall meet fresh monsters? ~ Her head was aching terribly as she watched the scene in horrid fascination ~ Will this man turn out to be no more than a two-faced, blood-loving beast? ~ But what he was saying, would then make no sense. Why would he stand there haggling, if he could just rip open her throat or gut? Unless... unless he's a perverse predator, enjoying the sport of hunting his prey... slowly...

Whatever it was, she was tired. And he seemed her last hope ~ If I have to die, so be it. ~ Scooting round, she darted behind him, quavering.

* Activate Potence for Strength increase.
* Activate Celerity for Speed increase. (The second use of two)

Speaking quickly to Thalali, he said "Don't fire until you have a clean shot away from the girl!"...and then he was running toward the "Master" fangs bearing and arms outstreched to grab him.

I take it from Mistral's post that she darted behind you, leaving me a clean pathway to you. If I did succeed in grabbing you, then my hands clenched your throatand I am attempting to to pull you down to your right side. If not, then it is your move anyway.

Thalali aimed both his guns right at the master, waiting for Storm and the girl to move so he could get a direct shot at him.


OOC: Do I have to turn on a power like fortitude if I want to use it?

Bakilas finally discovers where everyone went to He enters the room to see Storm leap at the creature only known as the "master", he also notes Thalali's position and the fact his weapons are drawn.

He draws both his pistols and hesitates, unsure who he would benefit from the most. As a compromise he points one pistol at Thalali and the other at "the master".

ooc ok, sorry for the delay, I ended up working over 60 hours this week and haven't had the time or energy to really post.

In the PM's I sent out (as well as the game discussion thread) I've outlined the powers that require activation, if I didn't say it takes blood to start(or willpower, or another stat) then assume it's always active such as potence and fortitude. you can however use your blood to increase your str/dex/stam to 6 (7 str if you have potence) and it will last for the duration of the scene, ie combat and resolution, or an hour (in any case I'll tell you when it ends, (celerity lasts for one combat round regardless of how many points you have in it)

the master

With an amused look he watched Mistral scramble behind Larry in a futile search for protection, how long would she be safe, until his hunger overcame his self control most likely. But she would be a useful labrat, dissecting her to learn the nature of her powers was something he was very much interested in, and if he had to go through a few insolent whelps before he could continue his research, well he'd done it before and would do it again.

The coppery smell of blood became very thick in the air, almost subconsciously all vampires present began salivating, the "donor" was gasping for breath on the ground clutchin at his throat, but the tide of crimson life would not be quelled, and within a few heartbeats he was beyond saving, leaving only his juice, the flow of which was rapidly slowing.

Vlad, for that was the "master's" true name was growing tired of his guest's constant stream of rudeness, but as host he would oblige them. He spread his arms wide out to his side and began walking towards Storm, ignoring the guns trained on him and Thalali, waiting for the vampire to attack.
