Talin followed the squat creature down a corridor and into what appeared to be a breifing room. "Wait here, Talin." the goblin said to him as it headed out.
Shrugging his shoulders in resignation, Talin decided to sit down and await for anyone who might be able to tell him what was going on...

Finally making it to the preparation room (its a long walk), Ferron notices a new face sitting next to the door. He waves his goblin away and walks up to the new comer. "Hello, who are you?" Ferron asks.

Extending his hand as he stood up, Talin greeted the stranger with a sharp toothed smile, "I am Talin, an assasin under the current employment of a certain Shadow. It is a pleasure to meet you, Mr...." As Talin waits for a name, he does his best to make a good impression and be helpful, since one can never have too many contacts in the underworld.

Skye raised an eyebrow in surprise at being summoned again, but shrugged resignedly. She walked into the briefing room and sat down, placing her feet on the table and leaning back at a dangerous angle. Taking out some small brightly coloured balls, she began juggling them and humming a lilting tune as she waited.

Starshadow watched as Skye came into the room and took a seat. "Ah, it's a pleasure to see you again, Skye. I have something that should bring some excitement. Well... once I find a way to use your skills, that is." He looked down at his intelligence reports and maps. "Hmm... I hope the others will arrive soon. We need to move quickly if we're going to survive this intact."

edit: To add color to posts: <*font color*="color">your text<*/color> Take out the *s and put in the color you want to use where "color" is. There's a list of colors somewhere, but I don't know where it is. Perhaps someone else has it?

Just remember to pick something that we can read. [img]smile.gif[/img]

ic:Khalraan ran into the castle, blindly running from a fat man, and what looked like two of his henchmen behind him. Smacking straight into a wall, he shouted, and dropped the bundle he was carrying, it fell open to reveal a silver blade, with a ruby encrusted gold hilt. Staring up he saw people crowding around him, and thought 'Bugger' The elven thief grabbed his bundle, scrambled up, and ran away from the large man, up a flight of stairs, shoving past people. The thoughts of the boy were scrambled, between 'Gotta get away from that fat bloke, his fault, should've hid something like this more carefully', and 'How do I get out of this place, where am I?'

Sounds of commotion entered the planning room where Skye was idly juggling and Starshadow was going through his plans. With a quick gesture from the new coleader of the guild, two goblins came running in. "Go find out what the commotion is out there and stop it. I'm trying to prepare, and I need quiet.... And get the rest of our thieves in this room! We haven't the time for messing around! Now go on!"

ic: Talin leaned back in his chair and spoke to whom he assumed to be the leader of the guild. "I have a few skills which might be useful to you..." Talin glanced at the others, then continued. "I can easily scale almost any surface, and can gather information rather well. Also, I will never run from a battle. If there is anything I can do to help, let me know." As he finished, Talin stretched and yawned in his chair.
