[ooc: It's past an hour, so you can't spank me... this is the only action post I'm putting here this morning.]

At the sound of the familiar, and now welcome footsteps, Mistral eagerly turns around to see Serephine.

"I have sounded out my troops and some of the older clans in this city… not all the civilians are agreeable to the revolt, but all my subordinates have placed their trust in my judgement." ~ The streak of pride that flashes across Serephine's face is unmistakable. ~ "Once Meldrin is defeated, the civilians will get used to it well enough. However…" ~ there is a slight pause.

With worried eyes, Mistral gazes at her partial ally. "What is it?"

"Meldrin is extremely powerful in his magical arts. We'll need all the help we can get. I'm quite sure that if at least one of your friends is here…" ~ Looks sharply at Mistral ~ "… and I'm counting on Larry as one of them, we'll have an excellent chance of succeeding. You'll need to play a part as well, of course." ~ Places the Celestial Fury and Daystar into Mistral's hands ~ "Use these or your spellcasting; you seem to be almost equally proficient."

On an impulse, Mistral embraces Serephine. ~ "Thank you. We shall wait… I somehow feel that at least one of them will return. But I… I'm not sure whom…" ~ Blushes as she recalls Serephine's earlier insinuations.

Awkwardly, Serephine disentangles Mistral's arms and surveys the latter with a critical eye. ~ "You're just lucky that I've a roaming eye, and have just picked another delectable companion. Larry shall be yours, if that is your choice." ~

She looks down at Larry.~ "GET UP YOU FOOL!" ~She shakes her head.~ "It's all well and good to be noble, but WHAT THE HELL good does it do ANYBODY when you're sitting there JUST WAITING for me to behead you?!" ~She shakes her head and looks at Deiter, holding her sinuses, her voice calming.~ "Deiter, love, re-assure me... He DID take a knock to the head, right?" ~She laughs.~

I have Ravenwood and The Past Twin Of Tear's Fall. Deiter has The Future Twin Of Tear's Fall and his bastard swords. Kapeach? (little GA humor for ya there.
