"Matron Mother won't kill us. Orders are orders, and just because Lady Alae complains doesn't mean she's going to suddenly change her mind about the orders she gave us." He smirked at the warrior, "If you want arrogance, my lady, go take a goodlook in a mirror."

"Get...get away from me, Alae." Alaerth whispered through rapidly growing teeth. Alae bit her lip and slowly backed away. A roar ripped from him, and in a blink Alaerth was on his hind feet, a full sized dragon. With another roar that shook some parts of the high ceiling off, he opened his maw wide and went right for the demon.

The demonoid teleported away from Alaerth, and reappeared the other side of the room, Alaerth going straight for Alliene. He snapped "Can't you keep your children under control, Matron Alliene?! Is it so much to ask that they obey you?!" the demon glared waiting for the matron to halt her nephew's charge.

Alliene cursed and sheathed Nizzre. When Alaerth was close to snapping her up, she put up her hand, palm out, and his snout smacked into it. Roaring, he struggled against her hand, unable to budge it. Deciding that wouldn't work, heb acked up and brought his mouth down over her, attempting to snap her up. Alliene moved her hand above her, and he once again hit the barrier. She yelled something at him in an arcane tongue and unsheathed Vilzraquath. The dragon froze, eyes wary on the sword. She pulled away, and Alaerth remained frozen, still watching the sword. When she sheathed it, he just stared at the shiney black leather scabbard. Shaking her head and muttering to herself, she once again drew Nizzre and moved to the side of the room where the demon was,
"They are not my children, they are my sisters children. Or did you not notice the white skin and draconic capabilities." She moved into an attack position and sent Nizzre flying towards his own broadsword, planning to let a bolt of lightning transfer to through the metal and hopefuly shock him.

"You push your luck male!" snarled the female warrior, her tone angry "You are luck yo have the Matron's favour! You should be punished like an insolent child! Perhaps that would teach you some respect!" she snapped, over Myri's howls in the background. The priestess, having finished with the elven girl glanced up at the bickering pair. "Be silent, both of you. I swear, you make this child seem like a prime example of obedience. Unless you both want me to take a whip to you, be quiet!" the priestess was obviously weary from so casting many spells and her patience was running thin. The girl in her arms, whispered an appology, her red rimmed eyes looking up at the drow, and she sobbed quietly. The priestess sighed, pulled the blanket back around the girl, and held her close, stroking her hair and rubbing her behind. Surprised, the elven girl quietened at the drows touch and remained silent. Glaring at the two warriors, the priestess snapped, "If it takes only that to silence a child, I wonder how much it would take to shut the two of you up."

~~~Meanwhile...~~~

"The term 'yours' was in a general sense Matron, since you are obviously watching out for them, I would have thought you were a guardian or some such. As you are their aunt, that makes them yours after a sense." The demon conceeded, and block the blow and unleashed a lunge followed by several over head slashes...

Zennenn decided he did't wish to push the priestess's patience any further, so bowed "Forgive me, priestess." He smirked at the female again and dissapeared into the trees.

Alliene easily dodged the over head blow, since she was shorter, "Under normal circumstances they can care for themselves, and they still have their father. I only make routine checks every quarter century to make sure things are going fine" She aimed a slash at his belly, "When their lives are threatened however, I must take a personal interest."

The female also murmered an apology. "Yes, yes. Your both forgiven." She snapped, and sighed. The female warrior also sighed, and took a seat at the priestess's feet. The priestess raised an eyebrow, but said nothing. If the warrior wished to act like a child seeking approval from its mother, so be it. At least it would keep her quiet, and she wouldn't have to break up a squabble between Zennenn and her again.

~~~Meanwhile...~~~

"I see. They were in no danger from me, you know." The demonoid said, blocked the blow and retaliated, missing.

"I can see that now, but you really did not need to beat my nephew so. You can see what it did to him." Alliene spun on her toes and cut her sword down at his ankles.

"Perhaps... but a lesson in discipline... should have done him some good, I feel... at least, he would not go challenging his betters again, I would hope... what say you, o matron of the drow? he sneered at her... and continued to fence... Alliene scored a blow, and the demon retaliated... scoring a gash across her cheek...

Alliene stepped back and lifted a hand to her cheek, wiping off the blood. She watched a few drops trickle over her fingers, then looked back up at the demon, her eyes narrowed and deadly, "I don't like it when people cut my face." She attacked him again, this time with all her power, with the objective now to kill.

"Erm, perhaps now might be a good time to conceed defeat...? he asked, his tone suddenly afraid...
