I dunno, I just think that it sounds...wishy-washy? I'm trying to think of something more exciting than just wandering around with Uriel.

It is indicated that (gah, what was his misspelt name in the book?) 'Solausein' had certain 'duties' which Phaere decided Imoen would attend to instead. So maybe not a lesbian, but definately bisexual. And yes, Bohdi and Phaere did have rather... heated exchanges.
Oh, and consequently, I read "tankards and tempers" and couldn't disconnect until I'd finished it. I much prefer the protagonist in this story, flawed and thus much more likeable. I thought the idea of an alchololic female protagonist was hilarious. Plus, the writer has a very direct style that is easy to read :> |

....except the main character isn't a lesbian. I always get really upset when I discover characters I like aren't lesbians. Unfortunately, I seem to spend a lot of my time being upset and disappointed

Aww, Asyncra, here is some more to keep you happy:
G. Imoen: I'm glad we're rid of that one. Have I told you what Irenicus did to me while I was his prisoner? 1. No, Imoen, I had dreams about it, but I don't know how accurate that they were. > Go to dialog screen H. 2. No, Imoen, and I don't really care. Quit your whining. > Romance terminates H. Yeah, he told me he was sending you dreams. I don't know what was in them, though. He would come and get me every day and take me to his laboratory. Each day, he'd do something different. One day he would make me watch when he would torture someone else, a shadow thief, or another inmate. The next, he would strap me down, and cut on me, various places. You can see the scars. Or, cast spells on me until I was almost dead, then magically heal me. He talked about you all of the time, what he was going to do when he got you.> go to dialog screen I. I. Imoen- I was scared, but I knew he'd keep me alive until you got there. Then, I thought he'd kill us both. That kept me going, in a way. 1. How did that keep you going?> go to dialog screen J. J. Imoen- Well, I thought that I'd at least see you again, before I died. That would have been nice, I thought. But, now we're going to beat him at his own game. We'll get our souls back, (character), I just know it. 1. Imoen, I am really tired of you. Go sleep somewhere else. > Romance terminates. 2. Well, I don't reallly know what to say. I'm glad I was able to rescue you. We'll get our souls back, don't worry.> Dialog terminates; after the party enters Ust'Natha, go to dialog screen K. |

Those things Jon did to Imoen all sound rather distressing... do you think she might have a little more trouble talking about them than that? Maybe some stutters and "..."s? Perhaps the character would have to coax her to continue in the middle of it as she pauses or something...
I can't wait to play this patch *_* |

All right, good suggestion!
G. Imoen- "Oh, (Charname), thank you so much. I knew that I could depend on you. You've never let me down. I have thought and thought of you so often, waiting...(She leans against you and shivers) 1. Hug her. >go to dialog screen G1 2. Leave her alone. (Conversation terminates) G1."Oh, thank you for the hug. I dreamed of you hugging me during the bad times. Can I...can I tell you of them? It might help. 1. "Of course, Imoen, go on. I had dreams from time to time, but I have no idea if they were lies or not. > go to dialog screen H 2. No, Imoen, I don't think that I want to know. (Conversation terminates) |

You might want to join us at the Bleak Cabal, Asyncha. You sound like a natural for the job. Of course, that last comment is in no way related to the topic at hand and will make no sense whatsoever to you if you don´t know the Planescape setting, so feel free to disregard it entirely. There´s no point in joining the Bleakers, anyway. Not that there´s actually a point to anything else, either... So there´s just one BG novel, then? I thought there might be one for each game in the series.

That sounds great, Galadria
![]() Speaking of which......... as vague estimation on how long we'll have to hold out before the scripts are beta tested...? Hermit: *blinkblink* o.O; You seem to be having trouble committing to a single statement there, bro Speaking of new jobs, I need a new job. I'm dangerously close to either suicide or boss-icide. I work around sharp blades which certainly doesn't help my predicament. Any job, including moping, stressing or drinking would be a great deal better than the one I have to put up with now. I wish life was like BGII... then I could just go around looking in barrels crates when I need cash. ------------------------------------ have a... a Heroine addiction. ------------------------------------ |
