IW Time out issue FIX maybe!!! (ALL READ PLEASE) - Page 13

Problem Jan 28th around 1.15pm central (texas right now). Timed out 3 times in a row even after reconnecting. First time in days this has happend.

I'm still having down time. Yesterday around 3-4pm East coast time (US) I was replying to a thread and then got the 'can't find' screen. Later I saw my reply didn't go through.

Today it happened around 1 or 2 my time as well. I think it took about a half hour for me to get back into IW.

Last night (1-27) around nine central. I couldn't get back in for about 20 or so minutes.

So it lasts 20 minutes, it's random and it's evil. If it bleeds, we can kill it.
Too bad computers don't bleed.

Same problem 26 hours ago. one of the effects of the problem is that it leaves you logged into the site until you can next get to a pc.

it's currently 4:18 in Ireland, so it's 9:18 in Montana. I was logged into ironworks, and it gave me the boot right about 3:45. Almost exactly 30 minutes later, I was back on. I didn't diconnect and reconnect, i just waited, and refreshed every five minutes until it let me back on. This sort of time-out seems to happen regularly. I'm on a network of some kind at my university, and they've got pretty darn quick broadband connections, so i don't think it's a server capacity time out or whatever from my end. Just thought I should let you know.

Well, after my brief 2-day respite the timeouts came back with a vengeance about a week ago. Today has been so bad that I had to reconnect 3 times just to let you know here.

I'm not gonna hit the site for the rest of the day though as I already lost 2 mssgs and It's driving me nuts. Will try again tomorrow (I hope this goes through).

It happens to me every single time I visit. I might get one or two posties in before it times out. I have to log off the net and re-connect, sometimes more than once each time. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

This morning and yesterday morning the timeouts started again probably worse than ever, like SpiritWarrior. I was able to view I think two pages each time before it timed out for about 40 minutes, then the same thing happened when I was able to access the site again.

I timed out of IW 3 times today. For about 30 min each roughly.
