Wendy, you ever heard of the band Franz Ferdinand? I was going to send you their record "take me out" for your birthday but couldn't get hold of it locally where I now live.
I'm sure you'd love their stuff, particularly "Take Me Out". Now my memory is jogged I'll keep an eye out for it. Yeah...BRING IT ON!

No Charlie, never heard of Franz Ferdinand, sounds French?
You know, that CD I sent you way back when of Nick Cave isn't the best CD out there (although Bring It On will always be one of my favorite songs, as is the 3rd on on the CD), I didn't know that then, but know it now. I myself like No More Shall We Part, and IF I can find it still in stores (it's always iffy re Nick Cave around here), I'll send it to you in September. No doubt if I find it, it will be at a discount price, as nobody seems to like Nick Cave here LOL, they'd rather hear all that rock music currently on the radio, the bastaids.... Oh wait, I'm one of them too LOL. Cept I don't focus on one type of music, I like many kinds and listen to whatever music I choose according to my mood. Franz Ferdinand are actually Scottish, Glaswegian (from Glasgow) I believe. Heh, I'm well aware of your musical tastes, we've known each other a long time now, which is why I'm sure you'd love this band. I have to make a trip into town thursday....I'll definitely try to pick it up for you.

Cool. No hurries though, if you don't find it don't worry about it, it'll show up eventually. I'm thinking the same with me finding the one Nick Cave CD LOL. Oh and can you play DVD movies on your PC by chance?

Yeah, although my drive is pretty knackered to be honest and currently I can't really afford to replace it. It generally works after swearing and threats. I do however own a DVD player (courtesy of Mark, my brother) that remains pretty much unused save for my penchant for watching Lord of the Rings.
Oddly enough I was soooo going to send you the Lord of the Rings Trilogy for you to watch on your PC. I really want you to get into Tolkien, once bitten, forever smitten, I know you'd love it. However, I think it's best to read the books first. And I know you still haven't read the books you minx.

That's a cool drawing. Pencil or charcoal? Did you draw it?

No but I did see the movies though, eventually LOL.
Well if you have a DVD player that works on a TV, then that is good enough. I want to send you something, muhhuaaawaahh! something extremely humorous, and something you probably haven't seen over there in the UK. But you have to PM me your latest addy, cause I cannot find a complete address in my notebooks, I have one, but it lacks the ending zip codes, wtf is that? Why did I even bother writing down a half-A$$ addy? I dunno LOL, beats me, but there it is... Either way I'll forego the Nick Cave CD to send you this instead LOL. |
