I'm going to be cleaning house a bit and wrapping some gifts today. Might even bake some cookies. Hope you all are well and happy today!

Merry Christmas to the sleepyheads in the farther off time zones!

Hmm, its gonna be the New Year soon... maybe I should start thinking about those resolutions, lol, hmm, what about at least 50% less spam on IWs from me... nah, I'd never keep that... maybe 25% less , hehe. Hmm, or the ultimate one: become a lurker for several days hehehe. What about the rest of you?

Well, I just looked here and there was a "Merry Christmas" thread. LOL, they have a "No Political Discussions" policy.
Cloudy, happy baking, and have a Merry Christmas Eve.

Howdy all, it's snowing here in SW Missouri, USA. I'd say we've probably got close to a foot of the white stuff on the ground and more coming down...OK with me as I have no intention of going out there to inspect it. I have frozen my arse off plenty often enough and since we have no ski slopes here *sigh* then I see little point in freezing it off again!

Attalus, you cannot kill Saruman: he is a Maiar. You can only destroy the human shell but, as Gandalf did, he could always come back...though I doubt the Valar would let him due to all of his mischief.

edit- *by the way I'm sitting near, but on ON, Lioness' couch wearing a dust mask!*

Slater...

Agree, Draten, but see the discussion here. The concensus seems to be that he was not killed, but disembodied, and lacked the ability to reincarnate himself, due to his evil deeds. The West Wind that dissipated the mist that rose from his body was sent by Manwe, denying his return to Valinor. Really, this was one of the most intelligent, finely honed discussions that I have ever seen on the net, with NO DISRESPECT AT ALL. Definitely rewarding.

LOL, we had a few flurries, but they died away and didn't stick, it being 34 degrees. Hope you enjoy the discussion.
