nope, it's not in 3d, the graphics are really okay though. There is a sequel of stronghold expected in the third quarter of this year, it's about the crusades. Can't wait to get my hands on that one.
whew, i am relieved.

btw, have you noticed that lately, RPG gaming is somehow.. bigger. NwN and Warcraft III are gold, Morrowind and Dungeon Siege have been recently released. IWD2 is coming, and maybe some other big things i havent heard of.

Epona, i've played caesar 2 and three, pharaoh and the add on (cleopatra) and zeus and the add on (poseidon), and i loved them all. And guess what ? Sierra has announced they bring out a new game in that style, it's in ancient China. I saw some screenshots of the game and it looks great, i think you will like it too.

LoA, uss I think you'll like this one. Good graphics, interesting quests (you don't just watch your castle grow, you have to fight things. I really like it so far.

well todays D&D session was MAD... we had 8 people in the game, all which acted together as a single demigod player at some points. they took down a black dragon so quickly that it wasn't funny. I managed to hurt them as a silver dragon before but when i was ON their side everything seemed unstopable, I think next time we'll be pulling in some players from ICQ who have chaotic evil characters and pit them against out group, we'll see how that turns out, I'll tell you something tho, these guys have been having some messed up stuff happen to them. They fought against Munacs today, and everything seemed lost, they cast a sphere of distortian and dealt 87 damage to all, instantly killing everyone there, EXCEPT for me (I had polymorphed myself into a 12 armed Su-Monster, the Munacs didn't stand a chance when i dealt 12d12 per round (and that is WITHOUT haste) attack on them. my hp got pretty low but i was able to yank a resurection rod out of the clerec's pocket and jammed it into him, we, unfortunetly, forgot about the bard, and left him behind he's leaving in 2 days anyway, all his spells were pety anway, decieve, pit pockets, tell poetry, he didn't even earn us gold on the street, infact all he hearned was a Munac fire storm on his head

I've got all of these only my Caesar is number III. I love the city building games but they DO take patience! I got one city in my Caesar game to actually be making money once! LOL But it was one of the simple maps without any enemy actions. I will definitely look for China, but whew.. I need more TIME! LOLOLOL!

Can anybody say 'frozen'? We didn't catch anything, but a few people cayght some nice trout. One person caught a five and a half pounder! Oh, well. Even though we got skunked, it was fun anyway.
Willard, welcome! It sounds like you had a great day, even if it was a little cold! I'm in upstate NY so we had similar weather today. What part of Vt is Hyde Park in? I did my undergraduate work (BA) in Burlington at the University of VT.

Hi all,
If we're discussing weather, check this out
Having the biggest snowfall for ages - now all I need is some new snowboard equipment and I'll be a happy chappy
Shame it has to be so freakin cold when it snows though

Any word on your grandmother cloudlady?

I have a job interview at Whitcoulls (a bookstore chain) tomorrow so am looking forward to showing 'em what I've got.

You are lucky Phil, I saw the snow on the hills around Christchurch in the paper this morning! Should be good for snowboarding up in the mountains. It was pretty cold here this morning as well, I was dam freezing at 6am.
And good luck on the job interview, we all hope you get it!
