A couple of things I would like to see for Rangers would be Dragonhunter Bow +3 it looks like the Heartseeker +3 and has resist fear and Negative Plane Protection and resist fire/cold. This Bow was made by Merlin the Archmage for a Ranger friend who had to go Dragonhunting. This bow is also useful against the undead. I would also like to see a ring of undead protection +3 that can be used by all classes and contains Spell Immunity:Abjuration and Negative Plane Protection and Protect from Undead.

I realize you're not taking more suggestions for items, but I JUST CAN'T STOP MYSELF!!! AAAAAAGHGHHGHGHHH!!!
Club of Stoning+3 Though originally fashioned from hardened oak and enchanted with the spells of the Druid that wielded it, this club seems to have been aged beyond its time, possibly as a result of its having been carried through a Planar rift and left to lie for an eternity in some distorted sub-plane. It is so old that the natural effects of fossilization have run their course through the weapon, so that what was once wood is now solid stone. Due to its extreme weight, it delivers a crushing blow in combat, but is also decidedly unwieldy. Weight: 40 THAC0: +3 bonus Damage: 1-6, +10 blunt Speed Factor: 8 Protection from Petrification while equipped 5% chance on each hit that target must Save vs. Petrification or be turned to stone Requires: 17 STR -2 to DEX -------------------------------------------------- Fellaia's Plate+4 This heavily enchanted suit of armor was the pet project and masterpiece of the Elven warrior Fellia Kenai. Driven with the desire to cast her magic spells in the midst of a battle against raiding Drow, Fellaia determined to create a custom suit of plate armor that did not impede her spellcasting. The work was slow, but fourteen years later, her workmanship was undeniable. The arms and especially hands have been made extremely flexible, to permit the free range of motion and lightning-fast hand gestures that all Wizard spells require. The torso of the suit has several compartments built into it, the better to store the spell components so neccessary to a working Mage. Fellaia's achievement, while considerable, was not perfect, and the user will still sometimes fumble a spell, despite the lightness of her gauntlets and ease of motion. Armor Class: -1 Weight: 30 Requires: 12 STR Special: 8% chance of casting failure (Try to make this for Mage spells only, if possible) Only Usable By: Female Elves or Half-Elves

Spent Uranium Crossbow Bolts
Legend has it that the famous mage/metallurgist, Pete Padilla was trying to create a new metal for the molding in the stained glass windows on his tower, when he stumbled upon a metal that was exceedingly strong and amazingly dense. Later, while talking to his good friend Singebeard the legendary Dwarven Smith, he happened to mention the new metal he "accidentally" discovered. Needless to say Singebeard was excited by the find and asked for samples. What he finally came up with was a crossbow bolt with a spent uranium head. During tests of the new bolts they were both pleased to discover that the spent uranium heads pierced the strongest armor as if it wasn't even there. Eventually the two formed a lucrative partnership and soled the bolts all over the realms. Unfortunately they both died early in life because of a unique property of the new metal that Pete referred to as “decay”. The art of making the spent uranium bolts has been all but lost now, seeing as the process of making them is very hazardous, contributing to their extreme rarity. *STATS* Crossbow bolt Thaco +10 Damage 1d4 + 3 combat ability: cast disease on target You make up the rest [ 05-10-2002, 01:47 AM: Message edited by: Rhuarch ]

Ooo, I've got one! Here it is:
Elminster's Pointy Hat The most powerful mage in Faerun, Elminster, was highly distinguishable from other creepy-looking dudes by his enormous pointy hat. One day, Elminster got into a fight with the avatar of the Xvart god "Pharto the Magnificent". In the gruesome battle, Elminster cast a final Spellstrike/Horrid Wilting/combo, and followed that up with an imprisonment spell and defeated Pharto, but was severely weakened because Pharto took his pointy hat before he was banished 55 miles under the surface of Faerun. A xvart witch doctor named Ogglie casted the spell Freedom and rescued Pharto, who gave Ogglie the hat as a reward for saving him. Somehow, the hat has made its way to you, as you hold its potent magic right in your hands. Special abilities: protects against critical hits Gives the wearer 100 lore It is so pointy, it changes into a +4 spear once per day Allows you to cast a spellstrike/horrid wilting combo (one charge) Smells like a xvart Phart, so it gives you -4 charisma Allows you to conjure a spirit xvart once per day gives you -2 strength *warning* Elminster might still be looking for his hat!!!
