Sea roleplay. "the begining"

I am Plaxica, sailor and ex-soldier. The captain has just given me a job as a sailor on the ship. Are you a passenger? Can you tell me of the others?

"ehm, well theres me, Karthias, Im Mormegils bodyguard, hes another of the crew, a rich one.........

and the two converse of all the others on board, Plaxica asking the occasional question.

Cant people get to eat whit out getting disturbed?
well im ready I guees and I have certain bussines to atend to,plaxo, plax, plaxi... what ever your name is, we will be sailing in two days, sail at sunrise omn the third day you late and we will leav you in a heart beat, you can sleep on the boat if you whis just look up the man named hima an hell sort out slepping courters and payment. calsimumus pays the bartender and starts to walk in to the town.

"Thank you captain, sir!" -with that Plaxica walked out of the bar and went to the ship. Seeing only one man on deck he said: Are you Hima? The captain has decided to employ me as a part of the crew. Could you show me the crew's quarters? When he got there he deposited his things and lay down and almost instantaneously fell asleep. A sleep which was restful, for the first time, since the soldiers had started hunting him.

Rong Er

“Apple of my eye”? ~ She had glanced at the fruit which Skye had picked and started consuming ~ It doesn’t look like an apple… certainly not like the ones we have back home… ~ There was something in the half-elf’s voice which had disturbed her ~ She means to make fun of me, I suppose. ~ Her cheeks had warmed as she looked to Lyulfe, and then back to Skye ~ I ought to be angry and walk away, but then I would lose my only allies. ~ Shaking the unpleasant thought in her head...

As her teeth sank into the bluish orange globule she held, her eyebrows had raised a few arches and she had swallowed a gulp ~ Sour… and sweet… then… ~ Her forehead had wrinkled a little ~ … bitter?! … What is this, anyway?

Several moments had paused before she turned to Skye and Lyulfe, a sheepish grin on her face ~ “I’m afraid it doesn’t taste as wonderful as it looks.” ~ Catching Lyulfe’s expression, she hastily added ~ “I suppose these things are acquired tastes. If they could last a little longer, I’ve no doubt I will grow to love them.” ~ And she turned away slightly, glancing about her, ready for more adventure.

Just then, some other fellow came sauntering up, offering a wonderful alternative ~ “Well, Skye, I would love to walk around a bit actually… so, could we go off, just the two of us?”

Skye tilted her head and put a finger to her cheek, contemplating. "Well, I have no problem with it." she strode up to Lyulfe and placed her hands on his shoulders with a mock-serious expression. "Do you think you can last without me for a bit?"

Lyulfe arched an eyebrow sardonically. "I should be asking you that question. If anything, I'll last longer."

They stared at eachother for a split second longer, seeming to communicate without words, before Skye wheeled back around to face Rong Er. "Well, you heard the man, er, elf. Don't get too drunk, Lyulfe!" she waved behind her as she and her new friend walked off through the crowd. "Now, I have only one condition if we are to spend time together," the half-elf addressed Rong Er with a solemn expression, although her twinkling eyes gave her away. "And that is to have as much fun as you can! And tell me if there's something that you don't like or makes you uncomfortable, okay?" she grinned.

Lyulfe turned towards the sailor. "Well, if we hear any explosions in the city, it's probably Skye. What exactly did you have in mind in order to pass the time?"

Rong Er

She paused in her steps, returning the smile archly ~ “Well then, since we are quite alone now, and you have so readily offered to oblige me…” ~ Gazes straight into Skye’s eyes ~ “The way you speak of Lyulfe…” ~ A flitting pause, then her tone becomes firmer ~ “… displeases me.” ~ Inhaling deeply before continuing ~ “After all, I haven’t had any friend for a while, and your words – I can guess at your hidden meaning, even if we are from different cultures – put both of us at unease.” ~ She stares at her shoes for a while ~ “There! I’ve said my piece, and it’s up to you to show your sincerity by respecting my wishes.” ~ The pursed lips break open into a genuine smile ~ “Come, let’s hunt out adventure and danger. This orphan beggar has nothing to fear but poverty!”

Finishing with his swim Corinthian swam to the dock and hoisted himself up to it. Pulling himself up he did a quick twisting flipping move and landed on his butt and put his feet in the water. With a contented smile he sat there with a contemplative look on his face staring out at the ocean,

Plaxica woke up a few hours later, and decided he would have a look around in town. As he walked through the town he noticed the elf Lyulfe and the half elf Skye, Karthias had told him about. He turned immediately back and went a different way. After about an hour of cruising through the city, he went back to the ship and told Himo that he would take the night watch later on.
