Shadow is walking past when he hears the mention of fine taverns, he stops and looks at them. "There are many different taverns down in the town, but it really depends on what you are looking for, The Elven Goblet is good for fine wines and foods, but it isnt overly friendly with non-elves... half-elves are regarded with curiosity.

The Growling Wolf is a more... human tavern, cheap ale, dirtly mugs, rather decent barmaids but a lot of brawls...

and the only other tavern that I could reccomend is the Riches Stay, thats where most of the richer aristocrats and merchants stay... fine food and service but rather expensive."

[Lord Starshadow]

As the co-leader of the society left, Starshadow began his plotting. He had heard rumors that the local thieves guild of the city was upset that there was an upstart society nearby, but were too weak to do much about it. Starshadow hoped that this meant that they would be easy pickings for the SSSB.

He took a mental count of the members, but was less than pleased with the numbers. Hopefully, they were worthy thieves and bards, else this might be more difficult than what he hoped.

With a flourish, he left his room, setting his traps and locking his door as he went. It was now time to make an initial scouting run, and he did not trust any but himself to do it.

ooc: Okay, I have things almost ready, and I'll be sending people on more scouting missions very soon. If you're not actively posting here, then you'll likely not be picked for a scouting mission. After a couple of these short missions, I'll set up a conference so we can set up groups and such, and then the adventure will be on its way.

Just after waking up from his short, yet satisfying snooze, Ferron hears talk of taverns and ale outside his door. He quickly changes into his good clothes (which, along with the rest of his clothes, have strangely made their way into the wardrobe in his room because he can't even remember bringing anything with him) and runs out into the hall with a small sack of gold coins. "I'm going to the Riches Stay!" he announces, "Does anyone want to come?"

Note: The small gold sack part if the remainder of the reward Ferron received after completing a mission in the past.

Skye grinned, then looked over at Felix and Thalali. "Well? You in?" she asked with an impish smirk.

Shadow stops and looks at Ferron, then at Skye, Felix and Thalali. "Something tells me that if you people go off on your own something is going to happen. So I am forcing myself to go, just for your sake you understand, certainly not for the fine foods and wines... and serving wenches..."

He smiles and grabs a small sack of coins.
