I also went and did a rather quick hobgoblin portrait (taking lots of shortcuts these days), although I wasn't planning to draw anything tonight...

They look great, Uatu. I don't what you mean by shortcuts, but I certainly can't tell.
I do have one little request, for official DC, none-the-less. Can you do an icon of a hobgoblin leader in some garrish clothes? The MM says thay like to wear brightly colored, outlandish ensembles.

Usually, I draw these things in a few steps:
1. Scribble/sketch 2. Clean up scribble/sketch into line drawing 3. Color and shade This time, I skipped #2 Hobgoblins are ugly anyway, so I guess it works...The MM mentions bright colors and red, so I gave the hobgoblin red pants I will try to make a hobgoblin leader icon soon, then...
