She doesn't think it is all that far. She is just grumbling about side stitches. And I mean , I hear her right now, saying that it's not fair.

Attalus, she would have beaten the holy heck out of me, time-wise. Perhaps in a couple of days I could have crawled across the finish line, tongue dragging the ground and all.

Sir Mandorallen, yes I have switched. I took a cue from bushido/samurai code and took a decisive action. No second thoughts, no ifs, ands, or buts. KAI! It has to do with taking charge of my life, my financial future, etc. I am my own boss and set my own hours.

LadyBlue, that's great! I, myself, have always wanted to learn to pilot a plane. I suppose if I want to do it, then I need to get off my keister and do it.

Morning, all. For a change, I'm the one who has to get Piestrider up and to church, since Galadria is enjoying a restful lie-in after her big run. Jen, how was your flight? I could never pilot an airplane. Vertigo,

Downunda, the profession I have now beats what I used to do. I knew it was time to change when I realized that I hated getting up to go to my cube.
What is really weird is that I know this woman who is looking for work (since she quit her previous job because "it was too hard" ) but she is still blinded into thinking she has to sit at a desk (or whatever) for 8 hours each day; she doesn't want to work for me. I offer; if she refuses to take a wonderful opportunity then it is not my problem.

Good morning, everyone!

Azred, the best thing about working for yourself is that you don't have to put up with bosses. The worst thing is trying to work in a vacation. Good moring, all.

Good moring, all.
Wrong Attalus, you still have a boss to bow down to, his name is Mr. Taxes. I've seen lots of little self employed guys lose everything they worked for. In some cases some people make more money working on a payroll, then trying to work for themselves. In this case i'm talking about the Netherlands where they hit you very hard the first three years of self employement. It's almost as if they wish you don't make it, that absurd high are the taxes here.
