When the door opened up to Larry as he was nearing the castle, he brought Nightblade out in a flash.. He had anticipated trouble, but not so soon! Yet, the people that were waving him near were mere servants...certainly not armed. Larry resheathed Nighblade and decided to play this one cool. He could draw her soon enough if need be.

He was escorted inside.

Her eyes widen as she sees Larry walking down the hallway towards her. She grips the chair beside her for support as he finally reaches her and Fabian.

Fabian stares at the stranger approaching Mistral. Clearing his throat, he speaks ~ "Welcome, stranger... I can see that Mistral knows you. I am Fabian, Captain of the Guards in this stronghold and her betrothed. And you are...?" ~

Neb looked through the scrolls quickly and found nothing of much interest, he moved over to examine some wands, most of which he found to be of no great use to him, he then decided to explore the shops collection of potions, finding three healing potions and two Oils of Explotions, the shopkeeper demanded 200 gold for the Oils and 150 for the three healing potions, grumbling, Neb paid the man and turned to Kaz to see what she had acquired on this little shopping trip.

Kaz held up the Fly scroll. "I'll copy it into my spellbook next time we rest... I hope I do not make a mistake, I can't afford to spend all my money on scrolls."

Whew...I think I did ok on my german test. Won't know till next week

(OOC: That's what I dislike about tests, you have to wait so long to hear how you did on them.)

"A scroll of Fly?" said Neb, "That will certainly come in handy, now, let us hurry pu and find the others, the assasins have a greater chance of finding us the longer we spend walking the streets."

Neb and Kaz left the shop and continued towards the location were Kaz's familiar had seen Seph, as they approached the Temple of Mystra and the building near it were Kaz's familiar had seen Seph, they saw a lot of gore, out in front of the house there lay at least 5 bodies, all of which were pretty chopped up, as they got closer they saw.....

(OOC: Leaving the post open for Seph to post what we see him doing.)
