Neb had just managed to finish his Stoneskin spell when Kaz teleported away, leaving something behind, something evil, it was 15 foot tall and radiated evil, towering over the mages who were obviously surprised at the arrival of the creature who now stood where Kaz had, it was red-scaled and wielded a 5 foot long flaming blade in it's right hand, the flames were black.

The red-robed mage quickly cast a Stoneskin spell on himself while his
white-robed brother summoned a Mordenkainen's Sword and the black-robed one cast a Lower Resistance spell at it, Neb made himself invisible and ran away as fast as his legs could carry him, his familiar by his side.

The demon looked at the mages pathetic attempts to assault it and laughed, swinging it's huge blade at the white-robed mage.

OOC: Larry: our characters are leaving NOW. THe demon is another matter though.

The powerful attack tore away one of the white mage's stoneskins, leaving another six in place. The demon snarled and began to cast a spell. Kaz did not recognize it but realized it must be very powerful. The red-robed mage cast three Magic Missiles spells at the demon, but it seemed to absorb them. The demon laughed, finishing its spell - prismatic spray. Seven brightly colored rays lanced out at the three mages. They all screamed in pain, the black-robed mage disappeared. The other two teleported away, obviously wounded. The demon looked over at Neb hiding in the shadows and Kaz standing weakly a short distance away. It laughed and cast a spell at Kaz, who recognized it as Chromatic Orb. It hit her, making her drop to the ground, bleeding. The demon laughed again as tentacles of black fire rose up from the ground, obscuring it. When they disappeared, it was gone. Kaz tottered over to the astonished Larry. "Now you know why I never use Teleport," she said bitterly and collapsed.

Neb ran over to where Kaz was lying on the ground and quickly checked her wounds, seeing that she didn't appear to have any broken bones he tore a few strips of cloth off the bottom of his robe and used them to bandage the worst of her wounds, he then pulled a potion of Regeneration from his backpack and did his best to get her to drink it, it's effects wouldn't be as fast as a healing potion but it would heal ANY damage, except for diseases and poisons.

(ooc: HRM... I'm not quite sure what to do here. Everybody's run out and uh... Hrm...

I don't feel like reading all that junk! Could somebody maybe summarize it to maybe 2 sentences so I can get on with my life?!

Oh I thought I should tell you I included our characters in my lit halloween story...

'Mia' gets eaten by a wall because she's crying, Larry gets squished because he's too curious, 'Derrick and Christine' throw up and run away. Very interesting.)

(OOC: Well, as far as I know, three mages(Who are actually evil dragons.) showed up and killed some people, setting fire to an inn while doing so, Mistral tried to get into the inn but Isabeau got killed by a spell and she ran away in sorrow, Larry entered the inn to save a trapped girl and Neb and Kaz went in to fight the three mages, but when Kaz tried to teleport away because she was getting killed a HUGE demon appeared and almost slaughtered Kaz and the three mages, the demon then left.)

. Well... what happened... the building across the street caught fire. Larry went in to rescue a girl. Mistral saw three mages outside and sent Isabeau to spy on them. Isabeau got killed, Mistral is upset. Neb and Kaz attacked the mages, Kaz got hurt and teleported away. Teleport had an interesting side effect - it summoned a demon. The demon drives off three lvl 16 mages, hurts Kaz and goes back home because it's bored. Happy?
Oh yes, the mages are dragons in human form.

IC:Dennis's lifeless corpse laid there in front of Sephi. Not being a man to pass up opportunity, Sephi bent down and removed the former mercenary's armor. When finally it was all stripped away, he decided to take a quick gander at his belongings.
At first he found nothing remarkable. A two-handed sword, a couple of healing potions that he pocketed, and a hundred gold pieces. But her persisted his search, digging deeper into Dennis's pockets, and finally found what he was looking for; a piece of paper from a company that was aged quite a few years.
Quickly he opened it up, curious of what it said and whether or not it backed up the former man's statements.
Captian Dennis, my long missing employee. It has been too long for sure, but I have need of your services once again. The rogue mercenary has been sighted in Waterdeep along with a companion. You are to camp outside of the city and move in on the second night, killing them both in their sleep. Any failure will not be tolerated. Go forth now, and make sure that he is dead by the end of the week!

Kaz swallowed the potion, then opened her eyes, confused. Only a few seconds had passed since she'd fainted. Getting to her feet, she leaned against the wall, waiting for the potion to take effect. "I really wonder who those guys were..."

Sephi continued running down the street until he came across a burning building. Quickly he threw his cape up around his face and edged closer, hoping to avoid the stray embers. Bodies of peasants were strewn about, and six grim-faced people were standing around, trying to heal their wounds after what must have been a rather difficult battle.
He recognized most of them, though not largely by name. Immediately he knew that Larry, Deiter, Spree, and the volatile wood-elf Maverick were there. He also saw two more people, whose name was... Neb? and the short elf in green which he had't been introduced to yet. Where's Mistral? Shouldn't she be here with you?

Neb looked at the warrior and said, "She ran off shortly after the fire began, I've no idea why, maybe we should look for her? She could be in trouble."
