"Main mission" is a tricky phrase for FO 1. You begin by looking for a water chip for Vault 13. After that, you get on to more important things, like tracking down the Mutant Master.

Yes, thats true. Sorry if I wasen't being precise, I meant the first mission that is given to you and that, as you say, is to get a water chip.
