Shadow couldnt help but smile, "Well I am happy to tell you that I am not a gold dragon... or any dragon as far as I know."
Upon hearing about the hoard Shadow looks a bit shocked. He had only seen one dragon hoard before and that was when he trailed some adventurers who were dragon hunting and snuck around the battle to grab some valueables. "Why it would be an honour... and pleasure to see your hoard. A thief guild you say? Hmm, well perhaps it would be best if we kept you away from the guild. The other thieves may not take to dragons as well as I have."

ic:Khalraan giggled at Cal, then motioned to Sylquis to come over.
'Don't you think Skye and Cal look perfect together?'
He whispered to her.
'Oh, and by the way, I'm sorry about that night, back in the underdark, I really didn't mean to walk in on you like that, it's just that Skye was hurt, and I had to fetch Cal.'
The elf boy's cheeks glowed a rosy red.

Calaethis's slave gave Khalraan a glare, and then flicked his ear, "Shh! They'll hear us!" she hissed at him. Calaethis looked over at the two of them, and raised an eyebrow as Sylquis flicked Khalraan's ear. He chuckled softly to himself. "Now, now children, play nicely together..." Sylquis bit back a protest and chewed on her lip slightly, "Yes my lord" she replied and curtsied. Her voice had overtones of 'yes daddy' writen into it. Calaethis grinned again, and whispered to Skye, "I think I'm begining to understand how Alliene feels, do I really sound so very parental?" Tyra smiled since she heard the comment too. No one else did though.

Zachana winked playfuly at Shadow,
"Whos says they would know I was a dragon? It would be interesting on hearing what they say about me, and how you managed to find me," she grinned and sat up with a stretch, then transformed into her natural draconic self, miniature and all,
"I am going attend my lady, dear half-elf, get your things ready and meet us in the common room. You don't want Alliene in a foul mood," she hissed her laughter and gave his pointed ear a friendly lick before soaring out his door and down to Alliene, dodging around Calaethis and company on her way.

Alliene looked up from her cooked veal and jumped up when Zachana came swooping down the stairs. She caught the little dragon in her arms and hugged her fiercley
<<Thank you for everything, Zachy, I don't know what I would do without you>>
Zachana twitched her claws against the hard leather and looked up at Alliene with her fierce eyes <<You would likely not be here, my lady. I am glad to have you back>>
Alliene smiled a smile that no longer touched her hard eyes and let Zachana snap up the rest of her food, "I take it you are ready? And Shadow is getting ready? Well, we have only Calaethis and Skye to wait upon then," she tapped her foot and glanced up the staircase.

Shadow grabs his backpack and weapons and strolls down to the common room, waiting to see where they were off to now.

Skye rolled her eyes at Cal. "Taking care of girls is a piece of cake compared to this lot," she gestured towards Khalraan and Damion, who were both whispering and giggling again about something. Looking towards the stairs she said "Well, we better go before those two plot anything. Don't want Alliene to get upset either, now do we?" she winked at Cal. "Do you want to go first, or shall I? She may protest if you offer your arm to me again."

ooc- Snow boarding is...... so kool!!!!

Calaethis grinned an evil smile, "You could always take the two youngsters in hand - one of them in each" he winked, "And if they step out of line, just swat 'em, Calaethis eyes bored into the two guilty boys who were looking indignant. "After all, you can always send em to their room." Calaethis smiled at the two girls. "Taking care of these two is no problem though, I really only have to keep an eye on Sylquis; whos a good girl most of the time. And Tyra keeps her out of trouble the rest - why doesn't she help you keep an eye on the boys as well? Another set of eyes might be helpful." He smiled at Skye, "Still, we'd best get going, Alliene, well, lets not aggravate her anymore then necessary..." He smiled again, and Sylquis gave a half sigh. "Got everything everyone? Good." he paused and bowed "After you Skye dear, he winked at her...

*edit* once again, Skye has made me correct any errors in this post - I'd wager that she might grow up to be an English Tutor later on in life

She looked over her shoulder and stuck her tongue out at Cal comically, making a face. 'Eh, I'm such a typical bard,' she thought in her head with a grin.

erm, I mean...

Calaethis grinned at Skye, then once they had decended the stairs, he caught sight of Alliene, "I hope we didn't keep you waiting too long, cousin..." his expression was one of rueful appology and he shrugged, indicating that it had taken time to get the children ready... which it had, he decided, after all, if one of them had forgotten something, they'd be tears and tantrums later... something they didn't need...
