Sennid Isdotter

Sennid went to the tent the orc had pointed towards.
The first thing that struck her when she entered the tent was the smell. It almost made her throw up. It was the smell of fear, orc and human extrements.
She squinted in the dark tent, and could barely make out the shape of the prisoners..
*It's okay*, she said, hoping they could understand her. *I'm a friend*

Mysterious Former Captive
IC - An indistinct voice called out from the edge of the camp. "Shut up, you dolts! You want to bring every predatory creature in the area running, slithering and flying!" The former captive thought, "I just hope they realize I'm trying to keep us alive, and that I'm grateful someone finally rescued me from the orcs. I also hope that they are on my side."

OOC:
welcome, our newest and last player, the Ornery One

and guys

to remind you that, you dont have to do, EVERYTHING in character. for example, discussing formation, and a pre-planned battle strategy, you can do this in OOC as you make each post.

btw, sorry i havent been on.. my IP for my comp is banned.. again. -.- so i have to wait to use my dad's laptop.. *sighs*

Skye

Skye could hear the shouts, which died off. She pondered for a bit, while turning on her infrovision (ooc-i sound like superman, lol). She could see the path that the orc had created by crashing through the underbrush, and an idea came to her. Taking her sword and slashing at the underbrush, she continued following the orc. Hopefully the ranger would be able to find her path.. she didn't deem it safe to yell for second time, in case she alerted the more orcs.

Skye

The orc stumbled again and made his way hastily among the withered plants. His labored breath came with hard effort. It was a lot noise in the dead of night, especially where everywhere else was so quiet saving for the tapping of the wind. He knew the noise was enhanced by the crispy tentacle-like grass, but he had to get away. He had to run from these fanatic people back in the camp. He cursed beneath his breath loudly, "why the greens so dry??!!"

It seemed the first time he noticed it, the plants were always dry. Ever since 'the big slaughter', as orcs may have it, he hadn't seen the greens green once. And what was Ragnar saying?

What boss said? He managed to think, a slightly sophisticated task. "No leave the camp at night!" The orc remembered, and mentally pictured his close-to 7 ft tall, menacing, bulky, muscled and unforgiving boss. But, the boss must know he had no choice. They made short work of Crunch, and they would kill him as well, easily.

He cursed again when he heard the relentless pursuit, and refreshed a frenzy of running. It was hard, but he cannot bash now. He didn't hear the lil snapping sound.

But the awfully-sweet intoxicating smell, kind of like a rotten apple or cheap wine mixed with dirty sewerage water, was not something easily ignored. The orc uttered guttural moan that distantly resembled a weak cry. His knees weakened, and nearly fell over. He should've heeded to boss' warning. For the only one time in his miserable life, he regretted.

Sennid, Robin, Ferji and the Captive

You heard a primitive cry across the field, followed by another agonizing howl, then a series of disoriented cries begging for mercy. The campfire seemed to jump in violence, anticipating the slaughtering with excitement.

The orc prisoner crouched fearfully beside the campfire, oblivious to the heat, all the while mumbling "fire, fire, fire"

Your heart pounded and adrenaline flooded your veins. In the distance, the howls and begging finally died down, leaving a vast of oblivion before your eyes.

Robin Clym

Robin's shouting was interrupted by the captive's cutting remark. Turning to face the freed captive, he spoke, "I was trying to gain the attention of my friend who got left behind. What do you know of this area? No wait, we must not waste anymore time, for I fear my friend is getting further away. Come, come with us for now. Once we have found my friend, we will aid you in returning to your home."

That said and done, Robin turned to the Orc and said, "You are free to go off now, but promise me you will NEVER harm another Human again, and Elves, and Dwarves, and Halflings, and Gnomes, and... anything else that can talk."

Using his right hand now, Robin reached towards the campfire and picked up several large pieces of firewood and passed them around.

"It is dark out there, these should come in handy for seeing our way. I will try to see if I can find and track down Skye's trail. Fenji, can you see well in the dark? I will be concentrating on the ground and stuff, I need somebody to see the area around the party and keep a lookout for danger. Sennid, you will help cover our backs, so keep alert. Okay, let us all find Skye now."
