Yeah, I dunno - the order of layering switches during combat, too, so it sort of messes up with my frame set... I am trying to work with the default settings, but I may have to try fiddling with the config.txt ultimately...

I spent far more time on the frame than the background

The config.txt is pretty straight-forward when it comes to the frame. But, as always, I can answer just about any possible question you might have about it as well.

Well - I will try fiddling with the config file later on (after I try hyper walls and all that )...

In any case, I have finally finished the wolf small pic... along with a few recolored icons for Greyhawk (including blue bugbears )

Woohoo! I am off to your site now.

...Okay, I'm back. The dire wolf is great. He will work very well (is it a he?).

I like the re-colors as well.

Hmm - I guess it could be a he or a she, as I did not specify when drawing it

I may have to do some bullywug, hobgoblin, and peryton icons soon...

Yes, please.

I would love to see some new hobgoblins replace the horrible ones I've made. Some day I will fix them, as I have my goblins, kobolds and bugbears, but they're not a high priority...

I dunno, I for some reason was avoiding the whole hob thing but I guess it is convenient to have them around (as they are quite a common encounter in general)...

Bullywugs are a strange bunch - it seems that everyone has a different idea of how they should look. Normally, it seems that they are large compared to grippli (yet grippli have double the HD); but in some other sources they look identical to the grippli (but still have just 1 HD to gripplis' 2).

So, as a quick-an'-easy solution I could just reuse the grippli icons for bullywug, but...

Whenever I see 'bullywug', I think 'pollywog'. And since they're only 1 HD I don't have to worry if they're offended, unless they come at me in large numbers.

Oh, they always come in large numbers

Maybe a young bullywug is a pollywug (or a bullywog?)

Well, due to lack of time I did a very rushed hobgoblin - but I dunno, I guess I'll leave it as is...

Hobgoblins are a strange lot - they look almost like Japanese goblins in a way - in legend, hobgoblins were actually the nice, smaller goblins, not the worse, larger goblins as in AD&D (I think Gygax mentioned that he made a boo-boo here)... But anyway...
