??? You're the one who brought them up, my friend. Or are you suggesting that we go see the Oilers instead because there's no waiting list for season tickets, and the games are rarely sold out?

I'm just trying to understand here...

I brought them up because their fans are insane like that(you aren't a fan are you? ) That and they aren't playing that great recently. Oilers do sell out quite frequently, in fact... and if not sold out then it's pretty darn close.

Clouds- That sucks.. I hate colds. I've felt like I'm going to get one for the past week and a half but nothing yet. Lets just hope it holds off some more.

Woohoo. Got my 3.5 Player's Handbook for DnD today. Gonna get the moster manual, dice, and Dm's guide in 3 or 4 days. My plan to introduce geekeism into my school will soon be complete!

Ha! Still operating on 2nd Ed! The last time we played, my pervert-dwarf-cleric's unmentionables got removed by the swift swing of an orc's axe. D&D + College Students + Beer = Some Strange Happenings.

Evening everyone!

Rainy day today. I usually have stuff to do on Saturdays, but today nothing really. So I've spend all frikken day playing Divine Divinity and watching SciFi movies LOL. Sheesh I'm actually feeling kinda gamed out, and SciFi Channeled out LOL. What to do what to do. It's still early LOL. But I've put in a good 8 hours in both at this time LOL.

Not that I'm complaining. I enjoyed myself all day, was a nice lazy day LOL. Got to watch DragonHeart, then SciFi's Hercules mini series (4 hours) (dude who plays Hercules is majorly hot too btw *cough* ), then Jason and the Agronauts, which is still on right now.

Sigh, maybe I should get back into painting things, that used to be a really big past time for me, but I overdid it, like most things, and got tired of it, but that was a good 5 years ago. And I procrastinate because this house I live in now has very high windows and rooms just don't get a lot of sunlight in them, so I'd need to invest in some fancy pants lighting I'd imagine. Some lighting that resembles daylight (halogen?). I've got several things sitting around leftover that I have not painted. But I bet all my paints are dried up now, and I had a good 80 bottles, with a dozen inks included.

Anyone who paints, or draws... What type of lights do you like best, just out of curiosity?

Just whatever lights hanging off the ceiling, usually. I don't worry too much over the lighting.

You might shoot a PM over to Wyvern. She's a painting artist by trade...

Evening, all. Pretty full day today. We're dog sitting for friends, so our dog has a buddy. At 5:30 AM, however, our dog was wanting to go out (too much water at night, I think), so after I let him out, I was *encouraged* to go work out and not bother anyone else (since I was planning on getting up at 6:30 to work out -- what's an hour? )

Got to the gym at 5:58.... the *only* car in the parking lot. I've never seen it that empty. Fortunately, they opened at 6, so I walked right in.

Got back, and everyone else was now getting up. Had a father-child breakfast at school (pancakes and sausage... yum ), and then we had revolving play dates all day long. First my daughter, then my son, then my daughter off to a birthday party (so Corbin and I stayed home and watched the Wings -- Sorry, Avalanche *snicker* ).

Had buffalo burgers for dinner (picked up at a small shop on the Indiana border earlier this week), and decided to grill 'em on the barbecue. Not exactly a common thing for February in Michigan... and by the end, it was indeed snowing. Decided that next time, I'll definitely cook 'em just a *wee* bit longer... a little too pink, even for my wife who likes 'em rare.

Then my son wanted a fire, but we've only got enough wood left for one fire... and we're saving that for tomorrow night and the Superbowl. So he and I went off to buy one single paper-wrapped processed wood firelog, and came back with that, four Kids Cuisine frozen meals, a pack of Danimals drinkable yogurts, some ranch dip, and a dog toy. Apparently, I'm really not allowed to shop by myself...

And now everyone else is in bed, and I'm down to the dungeon...
