You dont want to be going to the USA with pre existing medical conditions, insurance will not cover you. I wish you a very speedy recovery. But you may have to miss out on the flight, or can you put it back a day or so and still make the meeting?

All the best mate anyhow

Hey, all...just figured I'd check in on the woes, heartaches, and triumphs of IW...and randomly yell:

CHEESE WEASELS!

Now that that's out of the way, I'm gonna go take a Calculus III test.

Tim, glad you're ok and I hope things heal up before your trip!

LOL, LZ, that's one hefty squirrel and his buddie's no lightweight either! You must feed 'em well!

HAHAHA... I caught Ilander and his cheese weasles again...boy you're in trouble now! I'm gonna have to send my cat after you...he loves cheese and probably wouldn't mind the taste of weasles..... good thing he's indoors only !

Bungleau, say happy birthday to your daughter for me! I'm feeling all warm and kid-doting today... my sis-in-law had her baby on Saturday morning! Am an auntie again! 5lb 12 oz baby boy!

Good afternoon. The dogs are going crazy just because they saw a squirrel, just like they did when they saw the las 1668 squirrels.
Yeah I know its a bit of a kick in the guts. I could only delay the flight for a day at best. The doctor says that there is no risk (due to the operation being keyhole) its just my comfort level on the flight. Normal recovery time for an apendix operation is a week so by the time i fly out it will have been 8 days. I can cancel at the last minute so we shall see how it goes.

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone!

I always managed to post really late when I'm least likely to get a response in this cafe.

Damn skippy I am exhausted right now. Didn't do much, but still, exhausted. Long day. I have those damn standardized tests this week. If I don't pass the reading part, I don't get my driver's lisence. The reading part's pretty easy so I don't have a lot of worries, but man, I hate those tests... I also hate my math class, but then again, who doesn't hate their math class? (Except Ilander. ) Let's see, what else has been going on... I've been doing Land Judging in my Ag (Agriculture) class. We got 7th out of 11 on Saturday at a competition. Man it sucked out there, all muddy and muggy. It's usually a lot more fun when it's not nasty out in the fields that we work in. Our teacher's cool, he's only 23 and he has lots of college stories. I think we're gonna make him go bald from stress though, he has to tell our class to shutup everyday. I'm glad I get to spend a large amount of time in the computer lab either practicing land stuff or typing that Twinkie speech. I get in less trouble that way. I have another track meet this Thursday. If I haven't told anyone I do shotput and discus. I got 4th place in shotput last week, only because I scratched my best throw. Oh well, better luck Thursday! I just plain suck at discus. One of our best discus throwers decided to quit because he can't 'juggle' sports. Says he can't lift weights, do track, and play baseball. Let's see, we practice throwing about twice a week in the mornings. When we don't do that we're working out. He practices baseball after school. Doesn't sound too hard to me. Blah. Anyway, babbling is over for tonight guys. I'll see you all tomorrow or something! Good night!

EDIT: Good lucky with the operation T-D-C!!!

Glad it all went ok, TDC!

SomeGuy *HUGS* I'm off to bed but wanted to let you know I saw your post! Cool about doing shotput and discus, don't think I know anyone else who's ever done it!

I'm off to bed now, see you all later!

I've done it! In gym class... for half an hour... and I wasn't all that good at it either. But I still did it!
