Hullo all!

I've had company since yesterday so I wasn't able to come online until now.

We had great dinner last night and bbq today for lunch. The weather has been great!
Now I'm just debating whether to go take the guests beds apart and do laundry.

The Rascals.

I had a wonderful early/mid afternoon over at my friends!
Her CD-ROM died so we were unable to re-do her outline but we got out in the yard and worked together for about 2 & 1/2 hours, trimming trees and exposing a sidewalk that had not seen the light of day in years.

We found a healthy bunch of pepper plants under some of the overgrowth...tiny (pea-size), hotter than habenero hot peppers that had seeded themselves from some she has growing in her yard. I am going back tomorrow with some more tools and will be bringing one or two of the plants home with me (not that I'll eat them lol but KHaN might).

I told her she needed to call her husband and make sure he knew he would not be pulling up to the same yard LOL...we left a pile of cut down overgrowth and tree limbs that was about 5 feet high and six or seven feet in length...and we only made a dent! It looks like a whole new place already though.

Ack! It IS the first day of Autumn! For some reason I was thinking we had another week to go! I'd best check my planner and see if I have any exams this week that I am not ready for LOL!

I spent a little (but not too much) time this morning looking around for the turtle but never saw it. I did think I heard it moving when I watered the plants though lol. I'll get an earlier start out there tomorrow since I know I lack the time to complete much with what is left of today and since my friend is going to mow her own yard before KHaN and I go back together...he is bringing my new (but un-installed) CD-ROM drive to hook it up to her system temporarily so that we can get her paper re-done and pull her grade up a notch. The school's Library printer spit out her outline in CRAP format and she did not have time to re-do it and her own printer is on the blink. I'll help her with the outline and save it to disk where she can take it to an office on campus that I "know about" (*wink*) and get it printed out properly.

Ugh, its almost critter feeding time already and I still have homework I need to tackle and a thesis to begin. No day off this week.

Did anybody notice the troll , Wolfus? Wow, Mouse had the killing bottle ready.
Cloudy, sounds like you're having a busy weekend. Don't worry, I'll keep 'em in line for you. NOT ... I have to go to the liquor store. Bye, all.
