LB, that part is open, and I am sure that you could have fun with it. Her name is Gudrun, and her father is Beresfor, King of the Peaks. Her mother is Margot, a bit of a ditz. If I were you, I would just put myself in Gudrun's place: here she is, abandoned by her father who refuses to ransom her in exchange for a vase that he had stolen from the dragon's hoard. She is chained to the wall, and in a bit of a mess. Don't worry, help is on the way! Just post what you think would be going on in Gudrun's mind. PS, if you like, change her name, call it a nickname. No problems, she was my character, you can do any thing that you like with her.

I'm going in for a visit to the opthamologist this afternoon. The receptionist asked me "Are you going to want contact lenses?" to which I replied, "No." There is no way that I am going to stick my own finger in my eye several times each day! I've got to go to the optometrist too, soon. It's been about 2 years.

I use contacts all the time, though! One gets used to that pretty quickly; the "sticking the fingers in your eye" bit.
