[Killing Spree]

~The half-elf smiles.~ "It's nothing." ~She looks at the pink flowers.~ "Perfect." ~Her eyes glimmer and she looks back to Mistral's face, a serious look coming to her countenence.~ "You have a dress I pray?" ~She smiles.~ "Need to make sure before we go on to things of lesser importance."

"Well... I did go to have a look at some dresses, and I've picked simple one." ~ She runs to the adjacent room and returns to show her choice to Spree ~ "What do you think?" ~

Her anxious eyes seek Spree's approval.

[Killing Spree]

~She nods her head in calm approaval.~ "It's beautiful." ~She admired the simple dress for a moment, then returned to motion, smiling faintly.~ "It reminds me of my mother's dress."

Her eyes cloud, and fear flashes across them. Yet the moment passes instantaneously and she smiles back at Spree ~ "Thank you... I only wish I had seen my parents in person before they died..." ~ Her lips begin to tremble, then she turns abruptly aside ~

"Is there anything else I should be doing?"

(ooc: Deiter's back in the tavern, do you want to assign him any tasks?)

[Killing Spree]

~She bites her lower lip.~ "I... I'm sorry Mistral... I didn't mean to wake a sleeping beast." ~She gives an apologetic look.~ "Stay right there... I want to give you something." ~She walks up the stairs and a moment later stands before Mistral holding a small purple book in her hands. She flips through the pages to show they are empty. A blue ribbon lay to hold place for future use. She handed the book to Mistral.~ "A sort of wedding present perhaps?" ~She looks at her feet.~ "Early yes, but... But maybe you could use it now. Go on... I can take care of the rest." ~She looks up sorrily.~

Accepting the gift with trembling hands, she looks up to see Spree's awkward face ~ "It's alright, Spree. We have our pasts, and it always comes back to haunt us..." ~ Pausing, she takes a deep breath and continues ~ "Your gift means a lot to me, and I hope one day I shall be able to give you one in return." ~ Glancing at Deiter standing there, she whispers ~ "You've got a prize catch yourself."

She studies the book further and turns to Spree again ~ "I'd like to accept your offer to handle the rest of the preparations... I'm most anxious to start using this book right away." ~ Her right hand reaches to hold Spree's left elbow and she casts her another grateful smile ~

"Thank you, once again, Spree. I... I hope one day, we will be able to know each other better... and become closer friends..." ~ She lowers her line of vision, turns and walks off to the adjacent room with both the dress and book.

[Killing Spree]

~She exhales, turning to Deiter.~ "All right then, I pray this bard you found isn't tone-deaf. What do you suggest we do now?"

"I'm not sure, you guys seem to have gotten everything set up here." The bard pulls out his lute and starts to play a soft melody. Nodding slightly, he continues to practice. "Looks like he isn't tone-deaf." Deiter says with a grin.
