There are quite a lot of CRPGs in the 90s. Is it Ultima VI?

Ultima VI was the Black Gate; Ultima VII was Serpent Isle.
I don't recall that quote being in Ultima, but hey, that was awhile ago If it is U6, then that can only be the Guardian speaking. |

No Nightowl2. IIRC,there were 2 parts of Ultima VII . 1st was Black Gate, 2nd was Serpent Isle. Can't remember the name of Ultima VI ( Gargoyle story ).

Right, well, the question has been answered.
BUT We have a dilemma, in that the two halves of it were answered by two different people. Loudhy got the game right: 'Ultima 7 (Part One), The Black Gate'. (BTW, Ultima 6 was 'The False Prophet', and centred around the war with the Gargoyles. Serpent Isle was 'Ultima 7 Part 2'. I have no idea why they didn't just go ahead and call it Ultima 8...) But Nightowl2 got the character right, being The Guardian (quite possibly the coolest villain of all time, except for in Ultima IX, where he sucked, big time ). However, I'm assuming that Loudhy didn't see the additional 'name the character' question, and since he was able to name the game it seems logical that he would've been able to name the character too (the Guardian is the only 'voiced' character in the whole game afterall). Soooooo, sorry Nightowl2, it was a good effort, but I'm gonna award this one to Loudhy. So.... batter UP! ps: sorry for taking my sweet time in answering fellas.

Thanks. You're right. I didn't read your questions to the end. Sorry. But I know this game well, because standing before the Black Gate I found out, that I've lost the wand needed to destroy it ( somewhere, somehow ..... ). You can imagine my disappoitment after months of playing.
But fortunatly some days later a friend gave me a hint to unlock the film. Because I'm in my office now I'll have to wait for the next question until tomorrow. Please be patient [ 03-18-2004, 02:52 AM: Message edited by: Loudhy ] |

I'd a sudden inspiration ! ( strange in an office, isn't it ? )
I hope it isn't too difficult. What's the name of the game ? Who said it ? " Another visitor ? ... Stay a while ... stay forever ! " |

I accept that, Betelgeuse. You're right. You could simply search the web for the name. ( Tried that after your answer and found it easily )
That mad guy was called "Elvin Atombender". It's your turn. |

for a start here's one i don't know the answer to - where are the characters in your sig from, loudhy?
after all this time watching the trivia i thought i'd be able to come up with a nice hard question. this will have to do. but i can't guarantee it will be easy either which classical piece contained in the resident evil soundtrack (game not movie) was used as the theme to thexder, the old robot platformer?
