Keal knows they won't be able to hold it shut for much longer and says, we're better off letting them get us than trying to keep this shut while they get more guards to come & kill us." He says as he feels more and more guards pushing the door open.

"No their numbers are far more than our own. We would take many down yes but we would eventually die."

Bakilas turns and shouts to Keal "No, you must hold the door shut. If we let them in we are doomed."

He carefully picks up the necklace and holds it in his hands entranced by its beauty. "Alatariel, Mithval any luck finding a way out?"

OOC: No Bozos, I am running it without rolls. I am assuming that since your character is holding the door shut the chances of him spotting traps etc is slim.

Alatariel is trying calmly to find an exit, she doesn't spot anything.

Alatariel hears Mithval's call, and as such, turns in Mithval's direction,
"Yes they are placed neatly into place those different coloured bricks. You may be on to something there Mithval.....do you know the spell 'Unveiling'? If you do, we need to join hands and with our spare hands put it on the coloured bricks, and concentrate hard so it can reveal a door, if there is one. There is much power needed for the unveiling, I can not do it on my own. It is a spell that is done through thought, not by words."
Alatariel stares at Mithval with a worried look, not knowing if he knows the spell or not.
She is startled by Bakilas voice, "Yes, Mithval seemed to have found some different coloured bricks on the wall placed in a very perculiar array. Mithval and I think it might be a doorway, but we need to do a spell to open it."

Pushing up all his weight at the door, Ulest speaks through gritting teeth "Hurry! And if you don't know a spell, try to find some kind of... lock or switch, maybe I can try it.." A strong bang shakes the door "They're ramming it!!"

Bakilas slips the necklace into a pocket on the inside of his coat and runs over to the door to add his weight. "The door won't take much more, there has to be a way out."

[Keal]

"Bakilas! We can't keep it shut!" Keal says as he feels the door begin to crack. "If we can manage to keep the door shut, it will break if you don't hurry with that spell!" He begins to watch Bakilas pay more attention to the necklace than anything else. "Can't you 2 do some spells to affect the guards on the outside of the door?"

[Lauren]

Alatariel turns to Mithval, "Mithval do you think that you can do something about the guards, I think I will be able to do this myself, but the thing is I will be very weak afterwards, and I am not quite sure if I will be of any particular use afterwards."

She stares at the door, seeing it being rammed.
"Mithval I think you should attend to the guards, the others really need your help, I will attend the door."

Alatariel has a worried look on her face, but still she turns to the bricks and places her hands on the wall.
Alatariel closes her eyes and starts to cringe. The peculiar placed bricks start to glow a yellow colour. Alatariel is starting to feel pain and is starting to slide down towards the floor.

The bricks decintergrate and the hole in the wall leads to a tunnel.

Alatariel is now on the floor, passed out from exhaustion and pain.

[Jaradu]

"Alatariel!" Mithval shrieks. He rushes to her side to help her up, then realises she is passed out.

Dragging her to a corner of the room, he puts her in a safe position and rushes to help the others.

Chanting a magical spell, he slowly and jerkily raises his hands from the floor, as if pulling something up with unnatural force.

"Okay, I've summoned my pet spider from this ring. He should be able to kill a fair amount of guards but by no means can he take them all out. Do you want some more help or shall I tend to Alatariel?"

Ulest jumps towards Alatariel and shouts "Let's go now! The spider will slow them, go!" He tries to pick Alatariel up, and puts her arm around his neck, bracing her "Keal, help me carry her!"
