OOC>>>Let it suffice to say that since Attalus posted a question to me after Mistral got the party to the temple and dropped Sorsha and Dalben,,,that Azure had kindly refused your offer and strolled away with the words..."Our paths may cross again someday. I hope it will be a joyous reunion. For now, I have another matter to deal with. Go your way, and I depart mine, till we meet again. Thank you for the kindness you offered Jaime. It shall be returned to you one day. "
And then she left, going back the way she had come. Then, the party follow after Mistral's plan, and after the temple...TAOWolf now speaks with the two of you. Sound good? [ 02-14-2002: Message edited by: Larry_OHF ] |

OOC>> OK, Larry. I don't think Attalus had read Mistral's post when he posted that. He did say last night that he had asked you to stay, but I'll assume that he did that before we left and escorted Sorsha to the temple. IC>>

OOC>>> It is with great regret that I announce here that I'm going off for my 2-week overseas trip... ~ sniff, sniff ~ ..."I'm going to miss you all!!" ~ ... begins to bawl in despair ~ "What's going to happen to my tale?!" ~ Looking hopefully at remaining friends ~ "You'll take care of it for me, won't you?" ~ Eyelashes flutter ~ "Won't you?"
IC>>> Sorsha She follows the priestess obediently, her keen eyes taking in the new surroundings with quiet awe ~ Peace at last! ~ Hands reaching out to receive the simple white robes, she bows her head instinctively and reverently ~ "Thank you." And so commences her days at the temple. Days of arduous training and concentration, for ambition is now breeding in her ~ I must become something... ~ Still swatting away fleeting thoughts of queendom... |

OOC>> Don't worry, Mistral, we'll take care of it. Darn it, Attalus, you were supposed to have posted by now.

Rrang
He watched the cub dissapear behind the double wooden doors. Though he made Legolas a promise to watch over her, the priests would never allow him to trail behind her. Still, he could not ust leave her alone. There was a small forest with plenty of prey nearby though, and the ranger knew he could easily survive there. Still, it wasn't close enough. Once the others left, he could dig a small den overlooking the doors. If Sorsha decided to leave, he'd be ready to go with her. Rang had no idea how long Sorsha would remain, but time was not really important to him. If he needed to, he could live here for years. Though the ranger would rather be with his family, they could manage without him. |

GALADRIA (to TAO) "Surely, my dear, you may accompany us. I know well the Preceptor of that Chapter."
(to Blandamour) "Certes, my Lord. Let us go now." (they ride off to Tarashia, and enter the Chapter Hall of the Most Noble Order of the Radiant Heart. She stables her horse, and strides into the Preceptor's Office. (to Preceptor) "Greetings, my Lady. It is I, Lady Galadria, and Sir Blandamour is out back seeing to our mounts. We are reporting for duty." PRECEPTOR "I shall mark you as reported in, Galadria. And Blandamour is with you? How is his health?" GALADRIA "Excellent well, my Lady. He is happily cured of the malady that distressed him so. He is fit for duty, also." PRECEPTOR "Wonderful news, my dear. There is a little matter that you can assist us with. A vampire has been reported in the village of Witchy Wood, and I have no other available Paladins to send to help them as they request. The best that I could do is send some squire that wandered in last week. I doubt that he would ever make a true knight, for he is very arrogant. He has not reported in these past days, and I am concerned about him. Do you go to Witchy Wood with Sir Blandamour and any other companions that you can persuade to come with you. By the way, the squire's name is Anomen." GALADRIA "Your wish is my command, your Grace. We shall set off immediately after we have renewed our supplies and rested." |

OOC>>>I will give you a little fun, and put some life (In a matter of speaking) to your vampire...)
Syla the Vampire The night was dark. No moon shone in the sky for the clouds obscuring it. A man was alone, out in his fields with a lantern because he had forgotten his shovel out there. He did not want bandits to steal it. The man was much to poor to just go out and buy another. So, despite the rumors of vampires, (and he never really believed that such things existed anymore), he was there, searching for his shovel. He never heard a sound, but then someone spoke to him from behind. He jumped and turned around. A strange figure stood there, clad in black tattered garments that appeared to be rotten and falling apart. A hood was draped low over it's head. The man was sorely frightened. Not being able to even speak, he just creeped backward, watching the figure just stand there. It lifted it's head. It was a female of remarkable beauty and grace. She was pale in the light of the lantern, and seemed to have the greenest eyes of any mortal on Earth. She smiled at him. It was a wicked smile, as though she delighted in his fright. He dropped the lantern and began to run. She leaped into action. At the farm house, his wife was looking out the window, not knowing what was taking her husband so long. She could not see nor hear anything. She stepped outside to call his name. There was no answer. Afraid that he had stumbled in the dark and gotten hurt, she took up her own lantern and began to search for him. She followed his footsteps in the soft earth of the garden. What she found at the end of that path would haunt her memory forever. A shadow seemed to be looming over her husband, as he lay there. The light of her lantern had caught its attention and it looked up, blood streaming from its mouth. She panicked, screamed, and dropped her lantern. She ran as fast as she knew how back to the protection of her own home. Her neighbors found her there two days later, hidden under the bed, and out of her mind. They could never get her to talk about what had scared her. Thus, the kindly neighbors called out for help from the city. It seemed that many mysterious things were going around, and they needed help from a paladin. OOC>>>You like? |

There was a knock at the door and the Preceptor excused himself from your meeting to go answer it. At the door stood a very nervous young man that you perceived to be a messanger. He whispered into the Preceptor's ear, and you watched his face go pale. He payed the lad with a coin and turned back to you. Preceptor: "It seems that there has been another attack reported. This time, we have a witness. An elder lady, though the village officials have been unable to get anything out of her other than screams. Her farm was searched and her husband was found dead, killed from what they perceive to be a vampirac bite. His blood was drained. They have burned the body for safety, and by way of that young messanger, they have begged again for our help. Please do what you can for the people. They may pack up and leave their homes if they lose faith in our protection." |
