Time to give this a bump again.
The Kings are almost out, they were looking good until the third quarter. Missing Webber, and having Divac benched with foultrouble was too for them, plus their shots stopped falling through the hoop. On the brighter side, the Lakers are also one game away from elimination.

The Lakers are out. I thought it would never happen, but finally it did. I think the Spurs are THE big favourites now.

You exhibit remarkable restraint in your gloating; Johnny, I am most pleasantly surprised!
I have to agree with you though, that the Spurs seem to be the clearcut favourites now, if only for the enormous wave of confidence they will be riding for the remainder of the millenium. Yet. I have started to contemplate if the Nets could not match up rather well with them. The Spurs should have trouble containing Kidd and if it then turned out that Kenyon Martin, though undersized, was able to do a much better defensive job on Duncan than the Lakers managed ... we shall see.

The Nets... now that would be a real surprise. But from this point, with the Lakers gone, it could be anyones year. The Kings can still come a long way, but so can Dallas, although i don't think they stand much of a chance against the Spurs.
It could even become the Piston's year, with their tough defense. It's all open now.

Pistons took Game 6 in Philly. They're going on to face NJ next. Can they make it to the Finals?

I can't believe i fell asleep last night when i was watching the game. It was in the 4th quarter, and the Pistons just took control of the game, when it happened. I guess i missed the best part. Thank goodness there's a rerun of the game in a few hours.
