I do that too, Yo-rik. While I'm working on something I keep a save for every major step, and I don't throw them out until I'm completely done. When I am, I often keep not only the final save but the one before it too. I think I've fought the Illegal Operation Movement a few times too many...

I'm right with you on this, Adam. I'll be in the middle of downloading a file off the internet and - BAM! "woal has performed an illegal operation," ad naseum. Here is the problem: Unless there is another company out there who can come up with a decent, stable operating system (besides Mac) we are stuck with Bill Boy Gates and his "system" for who knows how long. Nobody out there can force his hand. Nobody. Therefore, we have no one else to turn to and Microsuck can publish whatever they want. Anybody remeber Windows 95? Heck, 3.1 was more stable. Now that is power to basically have a monopoly on the market.

Theres a brilliant Eddie Izzard sketch about illegal operation screens:
"Now then... Control P Print! "An error of type 4078 has occurred". What the **** does that mean!!! And more to the point why didn't you tell me about the 4077 other errors I had to skip just to get to that one! Control P Print! Control P Print! Control P Print! Look its four in the morning and I need this paragraph for work, its just one paragraph! Please print it out! Control P Print! Control P Print! Oh... Oh no... Don't you crash on me... look, now, how do you get out of crash... errr... Control Alt Tab Space Backslash Full Stop... Well, right, I'm phoning Amsterdam. Hello Amsterdam... oh you speak very good English...three national languages? Interesting... and you smoke dope as well, how do you have time? Anyway, my computer won't print out one paragraph for me. Yes, I've connected the printer to the computer... Yes, I've chosen the printer port instead of the fax modem port, which actually is the fax modem port... which confuses the **** out of me... Yes, I've chosen the picture of the dog lying down instead of the picture of the dog standing up... I've done all this! Its just one stupid little paragraph and it won't print the ******* thing out!! I've done everything! Just print the ******* thing!!! It won't wo.. Oh, theres an "On" switch on the printer..."
