I bought this game about four days ago and haven't stopped playing it since. If you enjoyed Shogun you'll love Medieval.

I read a review about it in a mainstream newspaper where they raved about the AI. The program can come up with all sorts of new ideas to defeat you. The funniest quote was that, however clever the programmers were, they could not make the computer behave as stupidly as the French did at Agincourt!

The game does rock!!!!!!!

The battles, most of the time, I dont find that diffcult though, I use pretty much the same stragty all the time in most cases.

Have a few spear men or woodsmen stay back in the forest and send Boyars/Horse Archers/Steppe Calvary to do the dirty work, if they get slaughtered, well the enemy will usally be beat down enough for my woodsmen/spearmen to handle.

Great game!

Although, I have found something strange in the game, it may be a bug or something, it has only happen twice, and both wear in castle seiges, but my entire army will be battling one man, and they wont be able to kill him for a long time, I will lose 40 men before I finally kill him. Pretty strage.
