Howdy, not sure how appropriate this post is for the general discussion forum but ah well, moderators feel free to get rid of it if you don't approve.

Anyways, yesterday I managed to find a copy of Lucasart's 'Full Throttle' in a super-budget, no-frills bargain bargain bin. Being a big fan of Adventure games (and particularly Lucasarts adventures) I eagerly picked it up and got started.
The game was bought on Monday.
The game was finished on Tuesday.
I couldn't believe how short the game was. Abrupt shortness is something I certainly havn't come to expect from Lucasarts. Now, normally I'm not amazingly great at finishing adventure games, but this time I was able to rip through all of the puzzles that the game threw at me.
Now, If you're still even reading this you're probably wondering 'what the hell is this guy's point???' well, what I'm wondering is has anyone else who has played this game found it to be exceptionally short/easy? Or is it merely a case of me somehow developing supernatural powers of puzzle-solving and transcending my former mortal existence to become a luminescent being of pure adventure-game solving power?
And if it's neither, how about the sequel they're making eh? Right on! More rough, tough biker-types!

I remember my brother once bought a game (3 cd's) about some underwater story. So you spent most of your time in a sub. It looked great, but in less than a day he finished the game. Bit of a bummer i guess.

Depends on what kind of game you're used to, I suppose. If you've only played Super Mario Brothers (for argument's sake) all your life, then you're going to have a bit of a hard time dealing with some of the more challenging games on the market.

Anyway, I'm sorry to hear that, Hierophant. I've often had bad luck with games like that. Once I bought a game and only later saw that it was an expansion to another game - after I squinted and read the microscopic letters at the back of the box, that is. Wasn't the end of the world because I took it back to the shop, but it was annoying even so.

It took me a reasonable while to beat. But mainly because I took some breaks, I think, and got stuck in a few places by my lack of ability to see the obvious.

Full Throttle, not just a clever name,
it is a bloody fantastic game!

When I first played Full Throttle, it took me weeks to complete it. My record time for completing it is 45 minutes.

It is simply one of the best and funniest games I have ever played, and I still giggle from the time I threw the plush bunnies into the truck's engine fan. Then there is the incident where I accidentally misled the security guard to think that the chain-smoking projector lady is getting the hots for him( the horror).

The Biker Haikus in the credits was a nice touch, and the bunnies too. Full Throttle rocks, and all Adventure fans should get it and play it.

I Loved Full Throttle, And I Didn't Find It Too Short Either. With These Games, It Just Depends On Your Personal Puzzle Solving Skill. What's Obvious To Some May Be Bamboozling To Others

I don't like these type of games, because they require you to actually think.
