Wendy, you don't need to have clicked the box... even if it was unchecked originally, Hotmail decided they'd just check it for everybody a while ago (thanks a LOT! ), and those who didn't know about that are now stuck with it. So go to your options and uncheck the box again. You might also want to put your junk mail filter as high as possible. Also, when blocking addresses, make sure you don't block the individual address (this will quickly fill the maximum quota of the block list) but block 'any address that ends in @getyourviagrahere.com'. Don't do that with extensions like @hotmail.com, @yahoo.com etc of course, as you'll end up blocking friends too.
Oh, and another tip: DON'T unsubscribe to anything! They'll probably take you off that mailing list as they're obliged to do so when you unsubscribe, but they'll pass on your address to others, who'll be interested to know that your address is still in use. So don't reply or unsubscribe, just block and delete.
Hope that helps.

Here´s what you do. Create a new account. When you´re selecting your country choose something way off like Armenia or something. I´ve got two different hotmail accounts, one that says I´m from Canada (which I am) and one that says I´m from Armenia. I get approximately 100 junkmails/day on the Canadian but only 10 on the armenian... I dunno why but it works for me, lol...
