My cat has a birthday in June. So does his littermate.

Hey Epona! Cool stuff! I knew most of it from reading Archaeology magazines and such but it is always interesting!

What frolicsomeness is this? Donut's dog has a birthday one day - his country has one the next - stay tuned to find out what will complete the trifecta. My tip is that tomorrow will be Donut's toothbrush's birthday - odds anyone?
No Davros, it isn't my country's birthday. You see my country isn't like Australia, New Zealand and the USA - we don't know when we were born because we're not young upstarts like you lot.

P.S. Fred, and BTW, I have always loved that particular poem by Blake. Very stirring!

Personally I am particularly fond of Blake's tongue-in-cheek poke at the rising industrialisation of England.

Did you know he founded the neo-Druid movement in England? Most people, because of that poem, assume he was a Christian his whole life.
Aye, I knew he was a Druid. So was William Butler Yeats. Read "The Crucifixion of the Outcast" sometimes if you can find a copy; it's harrowing, but telling, about the systematic destruction of the druids (well, one particular bardic druid at least) by the powers of Rome.

I've always thought it would be very interesting to set an AD&D campaign in a Blakeian (sp?) world, complete with Orc, Urizen, and all the other angelic and demonic Powers. And, of course, the Tyger.

Cheers,
