Ive played them both and I think the games and gameplay are better for PS2, so I like it better, between the 2 its just your preference, but don't buy a gamecube unless your bored with the ps2 and xbox that you already own, and even then just go buy some new games.

The best Game thats going to be on the X-box (to my iformation) is Deus Ex 2and that'll also be out on pc at about the same time. but if your going to buy one or the other just remmember gamecube is more mario, pokemon and zelda games whilst the X-box is supposed to be more dessined for adults (personnaly for the price the X-box i'd prefer to just go the whole mile and to buy a pc) [img]smile.gif[/img]

My friends getting an X-box, so I can't really judge that system until then. (The best game for it is definitely Halo btw which is what he's getting.)
Gamecube is very good. Unlike the PS2 most of the games will be multiplayer. Super Smash Brothers Melee, Zelda, Mario, PSO (Phantasy Star online.) I like all those titles. So of course I'm going to suggest a gamecube. It's also cheaper...
