Being a slightly educated hillbilly, I listen to mostly country and rock, but we do crank it up some
Imagine a jeep cranking out the Flight of the Valkieries, as a motor bike and quad are chasing around as we go blastin threw the fields and streams in my back woods Plus any song that requires the conductor to fire of cannons in the theater is allright in my book (War of 1812 oveture) For Country: Jimmy Buffet Bear Bryant Johnny Cash Roger Miller Hank Jr. Lorie Morgan Dolly Linda Ronstad pretty much all of them, but some of the country that crosses over aint my bag Rock: Kiss Ted Nugent Damn Yankies Styx Rush Triumph Ozzy (especially with Randy Rhodes...he was incredible!!) Blue Oyster Cult (Godzilla Damit! it rules screw you educated arse-holes who demean that song and say they shouldn't do it) Mountain John Cougar (especially his earlier stuff) Sammy Hagar pretty much rock that is fun, death or depressing stuff isn't all that fun for me Lately I've been singing the Sponge Bob Square Pants song and some Raffi songs (bumping up and down in my little red wagon) with my kid Doh! can't believe I left off David Allen Coe from the country list...sheesh, time to sing it! "I'll hang around as long as you will let me..." time for another beer. ------------------ Drink and be merry Jimbo "Renegade, Rebel, and Rogue" [This message has been edited by Jimbo (edited 05-08-2001).] |

Wolfgir: Thanks for the welcoming! I am pretty new here...I'd been lurking around the W&W board for a little while before I finally decided to start posting...
Moni: Why do you dislike Yo-Yo Ma so much? I really don't know that much about the artist, but what I've heard, I've liked, so I'm just curious.... And seeing some others' favorites has reminded me of some others that I favor: Loreena McKennitt Sarah McLachlan Enya Fleetwood Mac Creedence Clearwater Revival Eric Clapton Stevie Ray Vaughn |

Have you heard their first album 'Von'? I managed to get a copy recently, and thought it was different, but still pretty fantastic. Does anyone know of any bands like Sigur Ros? because anything close to what they do has got to be brilliant. [This message has been edited by Staralfur (edited 05-08-2001).] |

I was wondering about those choices brother, but I didn't want to flame. ------------------ "The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his." -General George Patton (1885-1945) |

I got your back man. I love them both, but Incubus is not quite one of my favorites. I think their lyrics are amazing though. ------------------ "The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his." -General George Patton (1885-1945) |
