I am! I am! Horses and motorbikes...I'd take them over a 4-wheel drive any day of the week. I haven't ridden in a couple of years though...my motorcycle was stolen just before I left Arizona. Now, at almost forty years old, I feel like I am a bit old to be playing on them anymore. ------------------ You know childhood is over when a puddle seems like an obstacle instead of an opportunity. Harleys are overated. Nice to look at but they vibrate to pieces in no time.
My first bike was a Honda 125 street bike but that didn't stop me from taking it off road. My second and last bike was a Honda Rebel 250. Fast enough for use as a street bike and light enough for me to hold up on my own. A lot of people mistook it for a Harley lol. Cops loved me on it but would give me hell whenever I drove my car (an '83 Totota Corolla Hatchback) I never did get why either way though. I took it hill climbing a couple of times (lol) and rode through more than one patch of deep sand while roaming the open desert in it with another friend who had a Harley. It was a lot of fun. My friend had an all-chrome Elsinor he used for his dirt bike extremes. I dared not get on it for fear of ending up hurt...not afraid of speed, I learned to be afraid of myself. ------------------ You know childhood is over when a puddle seems like an obstacle instead of an opportunity. LOL thats awesome Moni!
Hey Grand-Ranger! Ive never been into motocross per say but...motorcycles are awesome. I've done some traveling and while away ive been lucky enough to have a bike to cruise around on. It was a lot of fun. I also love the aesthetic of those old ww bikes that the battlefield messengers would bomb around on...so cool. |
