Hi Moridin,

LOL, good to see the attempts - and well done for spotting that Australia doesn't hold the Davis Cup (but New Zealand......., really??). Ummm, one out of nine I guess, but definitely showing promise

Hi Waluin,

Good to see someone else having a go - pretty good score too, the ones you got correct were :

1) You got the day right for Australia Day, but it has been going a lot longer than 5 or 6 years .
2) Melbourne,
4) Moon Landing - near enough
5) Near Perth, Yup
9) Roy and HG have issues LOL - you can say that again

The sport questions would be very hard for a non Aussies or Brit - the Gatting Ball is a piece of cricket legend - you have never seen a person more confused about what just happened than poor old Mr Gatting when he got bowled out by Shane Warne .

So definitely a pass there matey

1) What day is Australia day
26th of January

2) Where were the first houses of parliment for the Commonwealth of Australia located
I would be guessing at Sydney

3) What is the native habitat for a West Coast Eagle
A football oval (subiacco)

4) What significant event occurred on July 21st 1969
Decimal currency was introduced... no wait that was '66... maybe man walked on the moon? Or perhaps that was the day... (bugger history!)

5) Where are the "Darling Ranges"
In NSW... maybe

6) When was the last time that the Australian Walllabies won a Rugby test series against the British Lions
that would be the series back in '86

8) Who holds the :

a) Rugby World Cup

England...
b) Rugby League World Cup
Ireland
c) Cricket World Cup
Australia!
d) Netball World Cup
Ausrtalia?
e) Davis Cup
Spain is it?

9) Who is "The Battler's Prince"
Fatso the fat ar$ed wombat?

10) Who bowled "The Gatting Ball".
Warnie!

Can you tell I guessed some of those?

LOL - be not ashamed - that Donut dude is a pretty knowledgabale character for an Englishman (just don't tell him I said so ). And of course you scored more than Lioness. Let me just total her score here now.... Lioness, you scored ummmm...... a globe, zip, blot, naught, or as we Aussies say, BUGGER ALL, the same number of gold medals that the Kiwi's had in the first 10 days of the Olympics . ell this is my 500th post, so I am about to become other than a Zhentarim Guard .
